NeNe Leakes EXPOSES Lisa Vanderpump for Stealing Her Restaurant ‘Pump’ Idea and Snatching Her West Hollywood Spot!
NeNe Leakes is finally spilling tea on Lisa Vanderpump — and it’s piping hot. The Real Housewives of Atlanta OG says Lisa pulled some “foul s**t” on her years ago, manipulating her out of a prime location in West Hollywood… only to snatch it for herself and turn it into the now-iconic Pump restaurant.
“[There’s] something [Lisa] did to me that … I’ve never really addressed,” NeNe confessed on the Talk and Block podcast. “I know a lot of people look at her like [she’s glamorous and untouchable]. I’m like, she did some real foul s**t to me.”
According to NeNe, she was eyeing the very space that became Pump while living in Doheny Estates and working on Glee and The New Normal. “I would ride down that West Hollywood area where I kept thinking, it would be so cool if I had a bar right in here somewhere,” she explained.
“That space was empty and kind of raggedy looking and torn down, and the Abbey is like right there. I said, this is a cool spot cause I could get some of the business from the Abbey. I said, who could I call and ask is this a good area, cause I’m not so sure. So I call Lisa Vanderpump.”
That’s when, NeNe says, Lisa played her dirty.
“She [responded], ‘Oh darling, darling, it’s a piece of crap and they’re charging so much for it, darling.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I love it, I think it’s a great space. And I knew to call you cause I knew you have a restaurant.’ … She talked me [out of it], and went and got it [herself].”
NeNe didn’t mince words about how betrayed she felt:
“That’s so f**ked up. The next thing I know, [she opened] Pump [there]. I was like, is this b*tch serious?”
And when the two women later crossed paths? Lisa tried to play it off — dog in tow. “She has her little dog that doesn’t even crawl — and she’s like, ‘Um, hi NeNe…’” But NeNe says she never got an apology. “She just looks at me funny, like … she knows [that I] know,” NeNe said, throwing shade by dubbing her “Vander-lump.”
