Kenya Moore Urges Cynthia Bailey to Stop Talking About Her While Accusing Her of Sharing Secrets and Betraying Her Trust!

Kenya Moore is clearing the air and speaking her truth. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum opened up in a recent social media video, addressing the real reason behind her fallout with former close friend Cynthia Bailey—and it has nothing to do with what viewers saw on TV.

During the most recent RHOA reunion, Cynthia hinted that the breakdown of their friendship stemmed from her failure to defend Kenya amid accusations that Kenya had allegedly shared explicit photos of castmate Brittany “Brit” Eady during her salon opening event. The drama was said to be one of the final straws leading to Kenya’s exit from the show. But according to Kenya, that’s not the full story.

“She’s mistaken [about the timeline],” Kenya said in the video, referring to Cynthia’s explanation.

“I did reach out and chatted with her via text messages the day after my salon event. I’m not upset with her for speaking her mind. I think she could have handled it differently but that’s not the reason I’ve not been speaking to her.”

Instead, Kenya claimed that Cynthia broke her trust by allegedly sharing private information and text messages with someone else. “There were some private things that I told her, shared with her, and texted her that she shared with someone else. And that really gutted me,” Kenya admitted.

In a more emotional moment, the mother of one continued, “I trusted her with my daughter. I trusted her with my secrets. I trusted her with a lot of things.” She added, “Trust me when I tell you this, I have kept her most private moments, her most private secrets to myself and have never and will never disclose any private information, specifically … intimate conversations that we’ve had, or text messages.”

While she stopped short of revealing who Cynthia allegedly spoke to or the details of the betrayal, Kenya made it clear she’s done with the drama.

“She betrayed my trust, and I won’t tell, you know, specifically the people [or] the why. I know the why, and the why was not for my best interest. It was for hers.”

In a direct message to Cynthia, Kenya said, “Please stop talking about me. You can stand on your own … What you’re saying is not true. And you know, I just don’t want that nonsense in my life anymore.” The reality star added that she’s focused on surrounding herself with “genuine people,” even if that circle is small.

“Even if that comes down to two people and one of those people is Brooklyn … I think I know who my riders are, and honestly, she’s just not one.”

As for her future on RHOA, Kenya revealed she won’t be returning for the upcoming season. While Bravo has yet to confirm the official Season 16 cast, Kenya hinted that a well-known restaurateur and a familiar reality TV star are set to join.
