Another chapter has closed for Real Housewives of Miami’s Dr. Lenny Hochstein and model Katharina Mazepa. Just one day after the premiere of RHOM Season 7, Katharina confirmed that she and the plastic surgeon have ended their engagement—again.
The couple, whose whirlwind romance began shortly after Lenny’s split from his estranged wife Lisa Hochstein, had previously called it quits in 2023 before reconciling and renewing their engagement. But now, it appears their relationship has officially come to an end.
“After a meaningful chapter together, I’ve made the decision to respectfully end our engagement and return the ring,” Katharina, 29, told Page Six in a statement. Despite the breakup, Katharina emphasized that the split was amicable and not driven by drama or outside pressure. She also made it clear the decision to return the engagement ring was hers alone.
“Lenny didn’t ask for the ring back,” she explained. “It was my quiet realization that sometimes love transforms, and letting go with grace is the most dignified path forward.”
The two first got engaged following Lenny’s high-profile separation from Lisa Hochstein. Their relationship quickly made headlines, particularly after their engagement was announced while Lenny’s divorce was still unfolding publicly. After calling things off briefly, Lenny and Katharina rekindled their romance and staged a second proposal.
Since their split, Katharina says she’s focusing on a new chapter filled with self-growth and purpose.
“I wish Lenny nothing but the best,” she shared, adding that her next phase will be one of “intention, independence, and presence.” Amid Katharina Mazepa and Lenny Hochstein’s second breakup, drama from their first split has resurfaced—thanks to Lenny’s outspoken friend, Nik Richie. After their initial breakup, Nik accused Katharina of cheating and shared a photo of her on a boat, embracing a man who wasn’t Lenny, with the caption, “Who is this guy?”
He also posted emotional texts he allegedly sent to her, claiming she broke Lenny’s heart and even comparing her to a “Russian spy.” In one message, Nik wrote, “He took you in from the streets and made you a princess. How can you cheat like this the entire time?”
