Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann may be giving their rocky relationship another chance.
Just days after the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 47, accused the ex-NFL player, 39, of emotional outbursts and physical aggression, the couple has officially moved to call off their divorce. According to court records obtained by The U.S. Sun, a joint motion to dismiss their case was filed on February 21 — effectively closing the divorce proceedings that began last year.
Kim originally filed in May 2023, followed by a second petition from Kroy in August. Their back-and-forth divorce filings mirrored a turbulent year that included allegations of financial distress, public spats, and legal drama.
The motion to end their divorce proceedings came just three days after Kim submitted a court filing raising alarming concerns over Kroy’s behavior. In the February 18 documents, she suggested that her estranged husband might be dealing with “an undiagnosed mental condition” and alleged that his frequent “angry and emotional outbursts” — described as “profanity-laden tirades” — posed a threat to their four children.
“Left untreated, Mother is gravely concerned about the Children’s best interests when left in the care of Father,” the filing stated.
Kim also claimed those outbursts were directed at both her and their children — sons Kroy “KJ” Jr., 14, Kash, 12, and 11-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. She went further, alleging that Kroy had exhibited “bouts of physical violence” and “extreme sexual promiscuity.”
Despite the serious accusations, the couple’s legal reconciliation follows yet another chapter in their tumultuous relationship. Earlier this month, we reported that U.S. Marshals physically removed Kim and Kroy from their Georgia mansion after the property was foreclosed and sold at auction for $2.7 million in December 2024.
Court filings revealed the couple stayed in the home without permission, prompting legal action from the new owners.
This isn’t the first time Kim and Kroy have walked back their plans to divorce. In July 2023, they briefly attempted to repair their marriage before resuming proceedings. Most recently, Kim made headlines after hinting at a new boyfriend — a claim that now appears to be short-lived.
