Drew Sidora Says Porsha Williams Stirred Up Fake Drama To Stay Relevant On RHOA!
Drew Sidora is clearing the air when it comes to the drama surrounding her working relationship with Dennis McKinley — and the tension it stirred with fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Porsha Williams.
The Game actress, 40, joined Danny Murphy as a guest co-host on Page Six Radio this week, where she directly addressed claims made by Porsha regarding Dennis, her former fiancé and father of her daughter Pilar. “Porsha [said] that Dennis lied to you about telling her you guys were working together. Do we believe that or not?” Danny asked during the show.
Drew didn’t hold back. “She knew. She was on the phone.” “No, that absolutely is not true because we would be in the studio and Porsha would be on the phone,” Drew responded.
According to Drew, Porsha was not only aware of the collaboration — she was actively involved in giving feedback on the music.
“She would tell us what songs were her favorite songs before we started filming,” the Step Up star added. “I was calling Porsha and texting Porsha like, ‘I need to tell you something important,’” Drew continued, insisting there was no deceit in how the collaboration unfolded.
And just in case there are any doubts, Drew says she’s prepared to bring the proof. “I have the receipts on my phone, they’re locked and loaded and ready for Andy [Cohen],” she told listeners. “She was off living her African princess life”
As for why Williams may have later distanced herself from the project, Drew hinted that Porsha’s globe-trotting lifestyle with now-estranged husband Simon Guobadia may have left her too distracted to care. “She was off in Dubai and Nigeria and everywhere out of the country living her good African princess life, so she wasn’t checking for us,” Drew explained.
Despite the later fallout, Drew said things were cordial leading up to filming. “When we did talk before we started to film, it was all good. She was like, ‘I know. I love the music. Let’s go hang out,’” she recalled.
So when Porsha seemingly acted shocked at Shamea Morton’s birthday party — seen in the Season 16 premiere — Drew says she was caught off guard. “I was like, ‘Well, we just talked like last week and two weeks before that,’” she said.
Though Dennis and Porsha share a 6-year-old daughter together, Pilar, Williams reportedly made it clear she didn’t want her ex filming with Drew for the Bravo series. Drew, who is currently going through a divorce from estranged husband Ralph Pittman, has explained throughout the season that Dennis has been helping her produce new music as she focuses on rebuilding her career.
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
