Kim Zolciak Says She’s Been ‘Quiet Enough’ as She Defends Herself Against Kroy’s Unfit Mom Claims!
Kim Zolciak isn’t holding back anymore.
During a live taping in Atlanta for Kristin Cavallari’s upcoming E! series Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, the former Real Housewives of Atlanta star broke her silence on her headline-making divorce from Kroy Biermann—and the emotional toll it’s taken on her.
“I’ve wanted to speak,” Kim told the crowd. “Like, Kroy filing a motion saying I’m an unfit parent. I’ve been on TV what? Like 17 years. The only thing that hasn’t been said about me is that I’ve been a bad parent. You cannot say that.”
Kim—who shares four children with Kroy and raised her two eldest daughters as a single mom—said the parenting allegations cut the deepest. “My kids are my entire life,” she emphasized. “They always have been. I raised my girls by myself. And that’s one thing that Kroy knew what would hurt me the most.”
Since filing for divorce in May 2023 after more than a decade of marriage, Kim and Kroy’s split has grown increasingly bitter. From multiple 911 calls to court-ordered psychological evaluations, the pair has stayed locked in a legal battle—despite briefly calling off the divorce last summer. Kroy later refiled, seeking sole custody and spousal support.
“You’re with somebody for this long, I’m not an assh*le,” she said. “I still, even today, was nice on the phone. I still treat him with respect.” Even Kristin, who finalized her divorce from NFL star Jay Cutler in 2022, looked visibly taken aback by the emotional depth of Kim’s story. “It’s not black or white, it’s so complicated,” she said during the taping.
While Kim is processing the fallout of her failed marriage, her daughter Ariana Biermann is stepping into the spotlight.
The 22-year-old is set to star in Bravo’s new series Next Gen NYC, premiering Tuesday, June 3 at 9/8c. The show will follow a group of up-and-coming Gen Z socialites navigating love, drama, and ambition in the Big Apple.
As Kim navigates her public breakup, one thing is clear—she’s reclaiming her voice and setting the record straight. “I’ve stayed quiet long enough,” she said.
