Ariana Biermann SLAPPED With DUI Sentence—Fined, Drug-Tested & Put on Probation!
Ariana Biermann, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, is making headlines for more than her upcoming Bravo debut. The 23-year-old reality star was sentenced last Friday in connection to her 2022 DUI arrest—just days before the premiere of her new show Next Gen NYC.
According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Ariana accepted a plea deal to avoid jail time. She pleaded guilty to reckless driving and possession and use of drug-related objects. As part of the agreement, prosecutors dropped more serious charges, including driving under the influence.
Her attorney, Justin Spizman, shared a statement with Page Six following the hearing: “Ms. Biermann maintained her innocence since her arrest. We are pleased that the State of Georgia eventually decided to dismiss the impaired driving charge and offer Ms. Biermann the opportunity to plead guilty to a traffic ticket.”
Justin continued, “Despite her desire to fight this case, she took advantage of the opportunity to put this matter behind her and focus her energy on all the positive endeavors in her life.”
As part of her sentence, Ariana will serve 24 months of probation, pay over $2,000 in fines, perform 40 hours of community service, undergo substance abuse evaluation, complete a Victim Impact Program, and refrain from using alcohol or drugs unless prescribed. The court also made it clear that any probation violations could land her in jail.
Back in August 2022, Ariana—then 20—was arrested in Forsyth County, Georgia, and charged with DUI, improper lane change, and underage alcohol possession after reportedly being involved in a minor accident. Police launched a DUI investigation at the scene. Her then-boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy, was also arrested for an alleged DUI and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
Now, with her legal troubles seemingly behind her, Ariana is preparing for a new chapter in front of the cameras.
Next Gen NYC, Bravo’s latest reality series, follows a fresh crew of young adults who grew up in the limelight and are now carving out their own identities in the Big Apple. Next Gen NYC premieres June 3 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
