Chrisean Rock is setting the record straight when it comes to her son, Chrisean Jr.
During a candid sit-down on The Danza Project, the reality star and rapper opened up about why she’s been keeping her toddler off social media and how she’s been navigating the intense scrutiny surrounding his development. “He’s doing great,” she shared through tears.
“I’ve been keeping him off the internet on purpose. Just giving him his privacy, for real. I show him, but I just want to prove everybody wrong. There’s nothing wrong with my son.” The emotional statement comes after months of online speculation regarding Chrisean Jr.’s health. Back in March 2025, fans began expressing concern following Chrisean Rock’s appearance at Faith City Church, where some observers noted the 20-month-old exhibited signs of developmental delays—including limited mobility and responsiveness.
The moment reignited public chatter and unverified claims ranging from fetal alcohol syndrome to other possible conditions like Down syndrome and microcephaly. Chrisean has remained largely silent in the face of these accusations—until now.
“I went Live. I talked my sht… popped my sht and I cried,” she admitted, reflecting on how the criticism affected her mental state. “But that’s just me being vulnerable.” The mother of one also got honest about the struggles of new motherhood, revealing that her mindset hadn’t fully caught up with the responsibilities at hand. “I don’t even think I was mentally ready,” she confessed.
“I was ready because I love hard, but I was broken, and I feel like I had nothing left.”
Chrisean Rock says her three-month jail stint gave her the clarity she needed. Now, she’s focused on her son’s well-being and protecting his peace while her child’s father Blueface is sitting in prison. Despite the challenges, Chrisean says she’s made changes—cutting out alcohol and smoking to prioritize her son’s future.
“I’m just trying to do everything right now,” she said. “I’m not perfect, but I’m learning.”
