Brittany Cartwright Spotted Cozy With Musician Will Gittens Amid Explosive Split From Jax Taylor!

Brittany Cartwright appears to be dipping her toes back into the dating pool—just months after filing for divorce from estranged husband Jax Taylor. A new face in her orbit? Grammy-winning musician Will Gittens.

Sources tell Page Six that Brittany, 36, was seen attending one of Will’s Los Angeles shows in April, joined by at least one of her castmates from The Valley. After the performance, Cartwright and Gittens were spotted chatting at what appeared to be an intimate afterparty. In video footage shared by JB Entertainment—the studio behind Will’s music—Brittany can be seen smiling and listening closely as the singer spoke to her.

Though neither has publicly confirmed a relationship, the two have engaged in a flurry of likes and follows on Instagram in recent weeks.

Insiders close to Brittany say the two are “just friends,” but the chemistry hasn’t gone unnoticed by fans.

On a recent episode of the Give Them Lala podcast hosted by her friend and former Vanderpump Rules castmate Lala Kent, Brittany gushed about a mystery man—whom sources confirm was Will. “I’m having fun,” she said. “I have a crush, though it’s nothing serious. We’ll see where it goes.” Lala couldn’t help but tease Brittany about a bathroom mishap involving the mystery suitor.

“I like the guy who you fell straight on your ass out of the shower [with], and you guys laughed, and he still wanted to be with you after,” Will said. Brittany laughed, replying, “I hate you!” She added that the slip happened while they were both “butt naked” in the shower. “It was like I slipped on a banana peel. He thought I was gonna hit my head. It was so embarrassing, but then the way we laughed about it was so cute.”

Brittany Cartwright later described the moment as endearing.

“He tried to catch me, but I was like, ‘Don’t look at me!’” she recalled with a smile. Lala added, “I like him. He’s talented,” to which Brittany responded, “Yup!”

Brittany announced her separation from Jax, 45, in February 2024 after nearly five years of marriage. By August, she had officially filed for divorce, shortly after Jax returned from a month-long stay in rehab. Jax later revealed he had been battling a cocaine addiction and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and PTSD during treatment.

He also admitted to having narcissistic traits. Following their split, Cartwright was rumored to have briefly hooked up with Jax Taylor’s friend and Valley co-star Julian Sensley—an allegation that reportedly pushed Jax over the edge emotionally.

While Brittany continues to navigate her new chapter as a single mom to 4-year-old son Cruz, it seems she’s finding moments of joy again—and perhaps something more—with Will.
