Evelyn Lozada’s Daughter Shaniece Hairston Slams Jennifer Williams as “Selfish” and “Not a Girl’s Girl” for Bringing Up Her Baby Daddy’s Felon Status!
Evelyn Lozada’s daughter, Shaniece Hairston, isn’t staying silent — after Jennifer Williams dragged her into the drama, the new mom clapped back, calling Jennifer “a lost woman in her 50s” and slamming her for taking low blows during a sensitive time.
On this season of Basketball Wives, Evelyn has been vocal about her concerns regarding Christian, who’s under FBI investigation and facing multiple lawsuits from former clients accusing him of running a Ponzi scheme. Adding fuel to the fire, Jennifer’s husband previously disclosed on the show that he owed nearly $250,000 in restitution. However, court documents later revealed that his actual restitution amount was $12,500 — a significant discrepancy that raised eyebrows among fans and castmates alike.
Jennifer defended Christian but ultimately ended her friendship with Evelyn after hearing a private audio clip at last season’s reunion.
In the clip, Evelyn is heard speaking to a private investigator, saying, “Jennifer lacks street smarts” and that she keeps attracting “con artists and problematic partners.”
“I was done after that,” Jennifer said, referring to the moment she realized Evelyn had gone behind her back.
Things got even more personal during a recent episode when Jennifer responded to Evelyn’s ongoing comments about Christian being a felon by bringing up Evelyn’s daughter, Shaniece Hairston. Jennifer pointed out that Shaniece shares a child with rapper The Game — who also has a criminal record.
That comment didn’t sit well with Shaniece, who fired back during a candid conversation with her mom on their podcast. “Jennifer brought you up,” Evelyn told her daughter. “Her rebuttal was, ‘She needs to worry about her daughter because her daughter had a baby by a felon.’ How do you feel about that?”
Shaniece didn’t hold back. “I think she used the term felon because you said it first about her man. So she kind of reversed it and said it about Blaze’s dad,” Shaniece responded. “But even if she didn’t say that, she’s not exactly my cup of tea. I feel that Jennifer is a lost woman in her 50s.”
She went on to accuse Jennifer of being phony and insincere in past apologies. “The first time she did this, she apologized with crocodile tears, saying, ‘I’m sorry you were being spoken about,’ not actually owning her actions. And then she did it again,” Shaniece said.
But the most cutting part of Shaniece’s comments came when she reflected on how the drama affected her during a vulnerable time.
“I don’t hate Jennifer. If anything, I feel sorry for her. She had to stoop so low while I was fresh postpartum — Blaze was only a month or two months old,” she explained. “Your nervous system is on fire. I just feel that she’s self-centered. I think she’s selfish. And I don’t see her as a girl’s girl.”
As for Jennifer and Evelyn, their once-close bond seems irreparable, with both women holding firm to their perspectives. With tensions running high and hurt feelings on both sides, the fallout is continuing to unfold both on and off the screen.
