Federal Agents May Haul Simon Guobadia to Court to Face Off With Porsha Williams in EXPLOSIVE Divorce Battle!

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams’ divorce from Simon Guobadia is facing major delays — and it’s all tied to his ongoing immigration detention.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Simon, 60, remains in an ICE detention facility and was unable to attend a key divorce hearing on April 30 regarding the prenuptial agreement he signed with Porsha, 43, before their 2022 wedding. Porsha and her legal team appeared in court as scheduled, but Simon’s attorney requested a continuance, citing his client’s inability to be present.

The judge agreed to postpone the hearing and rescheduled the matter for June 11.

In the order, the court instructed Simon’s attorney to draft a proposed production order for ICE, allowing federal agents to potentially escort him to the hearing at the Fulton County courthouse. If Simon is released before then, the court will consider allowing him to appear virtually.

A source close to Simon told In Touch he was expected to be released from custody weeks ago, but “he’s still being held with no clear timeline.”

This latest update follows a series of escalating legal disputes between the former couple, who were married for just 15 months before Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024. At the center of the tension is the prenup — which Simon is now trying to have thrown out.

In new filings, Simon’s team accused Porsha of withholding a crucial piece of information during negotiations: her plan to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta. “The Wife failed to disclose that she would return to her employment on RHOA,” his lawyer claimed. “Instead, she made it very clear to the Husband (and the public) that she was leaving the show and not returning.”

The filing alleges Simon would have never agreed to the current prenup terms — which include splitting equity in his $7 million Atlanta mansion and paying significant financial obligations — had he known Porsha’s real intentions.

But Porsha’s side is not backing down.

Her attorney blasted Simon’s argument, saying, “Husband’s detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the direct result of his attempt to illegally enter the United States. This detention is a foreseeable legal consequence of his actions and not an act of ‘divine intervention’ as claimed.”

Porsha has reportedly been raising red flags about Simon’s immigration issues since the beginning of the divorce.

“Husband was fully aware of his longstanding immigration challenges, including multiple denials of his citizenship requests,” her attorney stated.

With the case heating up and both parties holding firm, it remains to be seen how the prenup dispute will unfold — and whether Simon will make it to court next month. The divorce proceedings are still ongoing.
