Kenya Moore’s Hair Spa Locked, Empty, and Struggling — Just Months After RHOA Firing!
Kenya Moore’s Hair Spa Locked, Empty, and Struggling — Just Months After RHOA Firing!
Kenya Moore’s once-celebrated Atlanta salon is raising eyebrows — and not because of its signature glam. Less than a year after the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum opened the Kenya Moore Hair Spa with cameras rolling and Bravo buzz at an all-time high, the luxe purple-hued space appears all but deserted, with no stylists, clients, or staff seen entering or exiting for two straight days last week.
According to The U.S. Sun, the doors to the spa remained locked on both April 30 and May 1 — despite listed operating hours suggesting it should have been open for business. No activity was observed at all. “It looked like no one worked there at all,” one eyewitness claimed.
The salon’s signature decor — velvet couches, floral walls, and white styling chairs — was still intact, but products and supplies were reportedly cleared out.
Per signage, the spa is only open by appointment Monday through Wednesday and is supposed to be open for walk-ins Thursday through Saturday. However, not a single appointment or walk-in was observed on what should have been a busy Thursday.
Despite this, Kenya has kept up appearances on social media. Just weeks ago, on April 18, she posted a video of herself washing a client’s hair at the spa. “You just never know who might pop out at the @kenyamoorehairspa,” she teased in the caption.
Booking links remain active through StyleSeat for a stylist named Mo, with multiple open time slots. Still, the disconnect between the salon’s online activity and its physical inactivity is raising questions — especially in the wake of Kenya’s dramatic exit from RHOA last season.
As seen on Bravo, Kenya was fired from the franchise in June 2024 after a shocking moment at the spa’s grand opening, where she unveiled sexually explicit photos of castmate Brittany Eady in front of guests.
Though the images were blurred out on air, the incident led to gasps, walkouts, and serious fallout from the cast — including Porsha Williams, who said, “I don’t support this.”
Since her Bravo departure, Kenya has shifted focus to her 6-year-old daughter Brooklyn, filing trademarks tied to a new kids’ brand that includes toys, clothes, and books.
Kenya also is on YouTube doing videos and her own confessionals of the season.
But as her business ventures continue offline, fans are left wondering what’s really going on behind the locked glass doors of her beauty spa — and whether Kenya Moore Hair Spa is just another RHOA plotline that fizzled out too soon.
