Brandi Glanville is continuing to share the emotional and physical toll of her ongoing battle with a mysterious facial parasite — a condition that has led to multiple hospital visits, steep medical bills, and public pleas for support.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 52, revealed on Tuesday that she had to be rushed to the emergency room once again, detailing her health scare in a series of raw and candid posts shared on X (formerly Twitter). “My head and neck would not move for four hours this morning. I could not get out of my bed,” Brandi wrote. “I called 911 had a lovely trip in the ambulance now I am at this amazing place after sitting in a wheelchair in the waiting room for four hours.”
She also shared photos from inside her hospital room, including a whiteboard and an image of her arm with an IV inserted, adding a caption that read: “I hate this place but should be another fun ambulance bill.”
Brandi’s current hospitalization is just the latest chapter in a string of health struggles that began in October 2023, when she was rushed to the hospital after her face swelled dramatically, her eyes shut, and she collapsed.
Since then, she says, her symptoms have included “painful lumps” and “acidic” drainage that is damaging her teeth. Despite visiting numerous specialists, Brandi says she still doesn’t have a complete diagnosis, and the treatment journey has been both confusing and costly.
Just two days after posting about her ambulance ride and hospital stay, Brandi was back on social media, this time appearing in good spirits during an Instagram Live session with her son’s girlfriend.
Wearing a sparkly silver top, a light pink feathered skirt, and silver boots, the Traitors alum laughed and chatted with followers while promoting her eBay shop, where she’s selling items from her personal wardrobe — including pieces she previously wore on RHOBH, along with designer items. In the livestream, she also mentioned that “gifts” were welcome.
During the video, Brandi casually dropped a jaw-dropping detail about her past. “I was once asked to have sex for $700,000,” she claimed, adding that her sons, Mason, 21, and Jake, 18, “were fine with the offer.” She did not indicate whether the offer was serious or how she responded at the time — but suggested she turned it down.
Brandi’s financial strain has only been compounded by professional setbacks, including fallout from a controversy involving her Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip castmate Caroline Manzo. She previously shared that the public scrutiny from that incident contributed to a case of “stress-induced angioedema,” according to her doctors.
During that time, Brandi credited OnlyFans with helping her stay afloat financially, and now she’s adding secondhand fashion sales to her income streams in hopes of regaining some financial stability. Though she’s no longer hospitalized, Brandi says her health struggles are far from over.
The parasite she’s been battling continues to cause facial disfigurement, swelling, and extreme discomfort, with doctors still unsure about the exact diagnosis or best treatment path. For now, she’s continuing to document her journey — hospital stays, ambulance rides, and all — in real-time with fans.
