Dolores Catania Claims She Warned the RHONJ Cast About Speaking to Bloggers and Says Teresa Giudice Doesn’t Listen to the Right People!

Dolores Catania is spilling the real tea — calling out Teresa Giudice for not listening to the right people and addressing the accusations that Teresa leaked secrets to bloggers!

During an appearance on Teresa’s daughter Gia Giudice’s Casual Chaos podcast, Dolores, 53, spoke candidly about the recent struggles she’s faced navigating loyalty, drama, and background noise as their friendship evolved — especially during the most turbulent seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

“I think the past couple of years,” Dolores responded when Gia asked her about the “hardest point” in her relationship with Teresa. “And I feel like I did really stand up for your mom and her relationship. Because I always said, ‘Let them be. Teresa’s been through a lot. She can handle this.’”

Still, Dolores admitted that supporting Teresa wasn’t always easy, especially when outside voices added tension to the group. “[But] your mom felt like people weren’t doing enough,” she explained. “But there was only so much you could do. And then your mom gets a lot of background chatter from people.”

“She does,” Gia agreed. “And your mom doesn’t always listen to the right people,” Dolores added. Addressing the controversy that brewed during the most recent seasons — particularly allegations of information leaks — Dolores said she tried to calm things down privately.

“Behind closed doors, I would say to everyone, ‘You guys are going overboard. Things are getting out of control. Why speak to a blogger? Why speak to an ex off-camera?’” she recalled.

Season 14 of RHONJ marked a low point for the once-popular franchise. With Teresa and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga barely acknowledging one another, cast divisions ran so deep that Bravo ultimately scrapped plans for a reunion — a rare move in Housewives history. Following the fallout, the show has been placed on an extended hiatus while producers figure out its future.

Meanwhile, rumors of behind-the-scenes leaks continued to swirl. Fan accounts accused Teresa and her close friend Jennifer Aydin of feeding information to bloggers to sway storylines during filming. Some reports even alleged that Teresa and Jennifer plotted to bring up personal issues surrounding Rachel Fuda’s husband, John Fuda, on-camera.

The allegations were fueled in part by screenshots and alleged text messages provided by the fan account formerly known as @MelissasOldNose.

The account claimed to show communications between Jennifer and bloggers, seemingly coordinating what would be made public. Teresa had already strongly denied ever paying for favorable press or leaking information to bloggers.
