Sutton Stracke Admits Her Friendship With Garcelle Beauvais Is Strained and Says She Was Shocked by How Garcelle Treated Her After Reunion!
Sutton Stracke is reflecting on the end of her close friendship with Garcelle Beauvais following a dramatic fallout during Season 14 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The two bonded early on in the series, but things took a turn after tensions rose during the reunion and Garcelle decided to leave the show—and distance herself from nearly the entire cast on social media.
In an interview with Us Weekly in April 2025, Sutton shared her thoughts on Garcelle’s sudden departure and her decision to unfollow her castmates, including Sutton. “I think we were all sort of in shock, but Garcelle is a very strong woman,” Sutton said. “She’s going to make her decision and do what she’s going to do. I just want her to live her best life and be happy.”
Though their friendship appears strained, Sutton isn’t closing the door completely. “I am hopeful,” she admitted, adding, “I’m just hoping that Garcelle is good and happy and on the path that she wants to be on, which I know she is.”
The strain between the two was visible throughout Season 14, especially when Garcelle felt that Sutton didn’t support her during a tense moment with Kyle Richards, in which Garcelle asked questions about Kyle’s friendship with country singer Morgan Wade.
After Part 3 of the reunion aired on April 15, Garcelle unfollowed Sutton along with Kyle, Dorit Kemsley, Erika Jayne, and Bozoma Saint John. However, she still follows Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton.
Despite their recent distance, Sutton supported Garcelle’s decision to leave RHOBH. She posted a throwback photo of the two together from a cast trip and captioned it, “Friends Forever,” referencing I Love Lucy with the tag, “[RHOBH] Lucy and Ethel.”
