RHOSLC’s Bronwyn Newport Arrives Late to Cast Trip Amid Identity Fraud Allegations!
Filming for Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is heating up in the Caribbean — and one cast member’s past is causing a stir both on and off camera.
According to a source close to production, newcomer Bronwyn Newport arrived late to the cast trip due to growing speculation and online chatter about alleged legal troubles. “Bronwyn Newport showed up late to the cast trip due to all of the heat she’s been receiving around her alleged identity theft,” the insider exclusively told OK! Magazine.
The rumors surfaced after YouTube vlogger Dana Bowling, host of the “Daily Dose of Dana” podcast, discussed online claims that Bronwyn may have once faced felony charges.
“Bronwyn from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City — otherwise known as Bronwyn Alison Newport Bradley — apparently she goes by both Bradley and Newport — [was] charged with identity theft and grand theft in 2021. Both are felony charges,” read a post from the Instagram account @bravo_boo that Dana cited.
Dana clarified to her listeners, “I have no idea if this is true or not,” adding that no mugshot has been located so far for the alleged San Francisco incident.
While Dana admitted she was initially a fan of Bronwyn’s presence on the show, she has since grown skeptical. “There’s just something about Bronwyn that just always feels incredibly disingenuous to me,” she said. “It always came off very fake to me and I couldn’t compute it.”
She also claimed someone had DM’d her alleging that Bronwyn had prior fraud charges from 2018, which allegedly led to her being fired from a finance job. “I’m also seeing other lawsuits and other charges… I don’t know if they’re true or not,” Dana added.
According to Bravo Boo, Bronwyn Newport was allegedly previously married in 2010 under the name Bronwyn Alison Newport Stringer.
The post joked about her past, referring to her as “#bronwynalisonnewportstringerbradley” and quipping, “What a life you’ve lived!” The account added, “Stinger more like it,” suggesting Bravo knew exactly what they were doing by casting her.
