Brittany Eady Reveals She Tried to Make Peace With Kenya Moore Before Being Exposed at Spa Grand Opening!

Brittany Eady is finally opening up about the explosive events that took place during Kenya Moore’s now-infamous hair spa opening on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Kenya Moore

Following Kenya’s unexpected exit from Season 16 after revealing poster-sized images of Brittany—some of which were allegedly sexually explicit—during her salon launch, Brit made her Watch What Happens Live debut to address the headline-making scandal.

Sitting down with host Andy Cohen, the RHOA newcomer reflected on Kenya’s decision to expose her in front of the cast and guests, an act that ultimately got Kenya suspended for the rest of the season.

When asked how she would have reacted if she had stayed at the event instead of leaving early, Brittany shared her belief that Kenya intentionally orchestrated the moment for maximum impact.

“You know what? I felt she wanted me to be at that event considering she never uninvited me,” Brittany told Andy. “And the fact that she conjured up these images, photos, went to Kinko’s, printed them out…” The intense topic even triggered a light-hearted moment when Brit’s earring suddenly fell mid-interview. “See, see—it’s the spirit of Kenya!” she joked, adding with a smile, “She wanted me to be there.”

Brit also revealed the contents of the handwritten note she included with the bouquet of flowers that Kelli Ferrell attempted to salvage at the event, only to be dismissed by Kenya.

“I just—I had a personal conversation in the card,” Brittany said. “Just saying, ‘Kenya, I’m sorry. I wish I would have never done it, and, you know, let’s try to move forward.’” She continued, “That was just really it. I wanted her to know how genuine I was because I made a mistake, and I wanted her to really know that I’m not a violent person.”

Kenya previously claimed her dramatic presentation was in response to Brit’s “pistol and whip” comment from a prior episode, which she says made her fear for her safety. But the backlash from viewers and the cast was swift.

The scene drew widespread criticism, with many—including Bravo—viewing the act as inappropriate and humiliating. In a rare move, the network issued an on-screen statement at the end of the episode announcing that Kenya would no longer appear in Season 16.

As for Brittany, she said she initially felt supported when several of her castmates walked out of Kenya’s event in solidarity. However, she noted that she felt blindsided during a later brunch scene. “I felt supported when the ladies left the salon when she did what she did, but at brunch, I was shocked,” she admitted.

Though Kenya’s time on the show appears to be over—at least for now—Brit remains focused on continuing her journey on The Real Housewives of Atlanta with a sense of honesty and growth.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
