Southern Charm’s Venita Aspen Devastated Over Leva Bonaparte’s Exit and Promises to Speak Her Mind in Season 11!

Leva Bonaparte’s decision to step away from Southern Charm may have been on her own terms, but that doesn’t make it any easier for her co-stars—especially Venita Aspen.

In a recent interview with Deadline, Venita, who joined the show as a friend in Season 7 and quickly became a fan favorite, opened up about her emotional reaction to Leva’s departure. Although Leva chose to focus more on her family and her thriving role on Southern Hospitality, Venita admitted she’s already feeling her absence.

“I don’t want to talk about it. I am very excited for Leva, but I would be remiss to say that I’m also very sad for myself to not have her back,” she said.

“With the girls, we just have gotten it down to a science. We’re a tight-knit group. We’re putting in the work.”

Venita also reflected on how Leva had stepped out of her comfort zone last season, attending more group outings despite prioritizing time with her young son. “She was making the effort,” Venita noted. “I’m a little sad that [the audience] won’t get to see that moving forward, but I am very, very happy for her.”

Looking ahead, Venita says she’s ready for more screen time and a louder voice—if the series returns for Season 11.

“I do want to come back for another season,” she said. “There will be no more holding of the tongue. I’ll keep it classy, as I always do, but I will definitely be sure to share my opinions more often.”

She added that fan feedback on social media has helped fuel her confidence. “It was kind of nice, and it will give me the courage to continue to do that moving forward.”
