RHOBH’s Erika Jayne About to LOSE $300K Lawsuit After Designer Accuses Her of Lying and Ruining His Reputation!
Erika Jayne is facing legal trouble once again—this time in the form of a potential $300,000 judgment tied to a lawsuit filed in Florida.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, is being sued by fashion designer Marco Morante, who alleges that Erika and her team—Laia Ribatallada and longtime creative partner Mikey Minden—interfered with his business, defamed him, and caused significant financial damage.
According to court documents obtained by The U.S. Sun, each defendant is being sued for more than $300,000. The filing includes claims of “tortious interference with business relationships,” “defamation,” and more.
The case took a turn when Erika’s attorney, Jim Wilkes, reportedly missed a recent court hearing and filed a flawed motion to dismiss. A Florida judge has since signaled they are open to a default judgment in Marco’s favor, which could mean Erika won’t even get a trial before the judgment is enforced.
Attorney Ronald Richards, who has previously been involved in separate legal matters connected to Erika and her estranged husband Tom Girardi, noted on X, “Erika Jayne is in hot water now and is on the verge of losing this lawsuit.” Erika and her team have denied all allegations.
This lawsuit comes as Erika continues to battle multiple legal issues stemming from her connection to Tom Girardi’s alleged financial misconduct. In California, she remains entangled in a separate $18 million lawsuit from designer Christopher Psaila, Marco’s business partner at the Marco Marco label.
Psaila claims Erika used her former ties to a Secret Service agent to falsely accuse him of identity theft and fraud—charges that were ultimately dismissed.
Despite the dismissal, Psaila’s civil suit against Erika continues. He accuses her of “malicious prosecution and conspiracy,” saying she tried to destroy his career. “Mr. Psaila’s business lost clients, retailers, and employees, resulting in lost profits and goodwill totaling tens of millions of dollars,” his lawyer previously stated.
Meanwhile, Erika is also gearing up to defend herself in a $24 million lawsuit connected to her lifestyle and alleged spending of Girardi Keese’s funds.
