The 24-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice revealed she discovered a painful lump on her chest that led her to seek immediate medical attention.

“About a week and a half ago, I found this huge lump on the side of my [chest],” Gia Giudice shared in an interview with Extra, noting that it was “bulging out” and unlike the other side, which remained flat. “It was abnormal, and it was hurting me.”

Following an ultrasound, Gia learned she had a lipoma — a benign tumor caused by a cluster of fat cells. “Because it’s hurting me and causing discomfort, I need to get it removed,” she explained, but added that the surgery is on hold due to her current Accutane treatment.

“While on Accutane, your skin doesn’t heal properly,” she said, noting she hopes to have the procedure done by June.

Gia also offered advice to fans: “Always check in on yourself. Don’t be afraid to go to the doctor. It’s better to get on it rather than run from it.”

In addition to dealing with health challenges, Gia recently launched her Casual Chaos podcast and opened up about another major life update: putting her law school goals on pause.

“I actually was driving myself insane,” she admitted, after spending over $5,000 on tutoring and studying for a year and a half. While she had serious ambitions, she said her tutor was blunt, telling her, “If you are not 100 percent invested in this and 100 percent in the game, you cannot become a lawyer.”

Gia is currently filming Making It in Manhattan and weighing her many career opportunities, proving that while law school is on hold for now, her hustle is far from over.
