Kenya Moore Says Bravo Silenced Her and Didn’t Protect Her After Brittany Eady’s Gun Comment!
Kenya Moore is speaking out after The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired the explosive moment between her and newcomer Brittany Eady. As the drama from the salon event finally played out in season 16, episode four, Kenya took to social media to address her side of the story—and she isn’t holding back.
“It’s so painful to see my storyline being told by someone else,” the longtime cast member shared on X (formerly Twitter). “With that said, I really appreciate Kelli being so kind and supportive to me. #RHOA.”
Fans were quick to note that Kenya hasn’t had any confessionals this season, making it difficult for her to provide context or explain her perspective like the rest of the cast.
That absence may be why the 52-year-old felt the need to clarify her concerns online—especially after a clip aired of Brittany allegedly referencing carrying a weapon.
“Being the longest standing RHOA member threatened with whips and pistols by a newcomer 3 weeks into filming,” she wrote. “Seeing this obsession play out is scary. I wanted protection and assurances that the threats would be taken seriously. I may be strong, but I’m not bulletproof.”
Kenya also addressed fan confusion over the tension with Brittany, confirming there was no behind-the-scenes drama leading up to the altercation. “Babe!!!! There is no context missing. No other interaction. No prior meetings… no gossip… NOTHING,” she insisted in response to a fan post.
The controversial moment occurred after a heated exchange between Kenya and Brittany at Angela Oakley’s event. As the cast exited, Brittany was heard saying, “I mean, I still have my pistol, though.”
She then added, “I had to let that b**** know. Don’t play with me… I got whips, pistols, everything.”
Kenya, clearly rattled, addressed the moment from her car, telling co-star Porsha Williams, “She’s talking about guns… This girl is a problem. She gotta go.”
Despite the tension, Kenya is receiving support from fellow Bravo stars, including Real Housewives of Potomac alum Candiace Dillard-Bassett, who has publicly stood behind her amid the controversy.
New episodes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta air Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
