‘Temptation Island’ Star Brion Whitley REGRETS Wild Threesome … Says He’s Getting DEATH THREATS!

Brion Whitley, who has been dubbed “The Most Hated Man on Netflix,” following his appearance on Temptation Island, is speaking out about the aftermath of his headline-making threesome on the show — and how it’s impacted his relationship with girlfriend Shanté Glover.

Brion Reflects on His Time on the Show

In an exclusive conversation with TMZ, Brion shared that he deeply regrets the decision to engage in a threesome with Alex and Courtney, two of the 12 singles featured on Season 1 of the Netflix reality series.

“It was a mistake,” he said of the controversial moment that aired on the show. “But I’ve learned a lot of lessons from it.”

Brion received significant backlash on social media after the steamy scene aired, with viewers criticizing him for being unfaithful to Shanté, whom he entered the show with as part of one of four couples.

Rebuilding Trust After Betrayal

Despite the betrayal broadcasted on-screen, Brion says he and Shanté are currently in a better place than ever before.

“I hate the way I had to learn, but I do like the fact that I did learn,” he shared.

He explained that the couple is now living together and working on rebuilding trust. Brion emphasized that honesty and transparency are now his top priorities as he focuses on becoming a better partner — and perhaps even a future father.

Facing Intense Online Backlash

While Brion admits that life with Shanté has returned to a more routine rhythm, including enjoying cooking shows and visiting antique stores, the criticism online has not died down.

He revealed that both he and Shanté have had to restrict comments on their social media pages due to the severity of the backlash.

In addition to trolling, Brion said they have also received death threats from outraged viewers.

“I can handle the hate,” he explained, “as long as Shanté and her family aren’t in the line of fire.”

However, he acknowledged that people have not held back when it comes to targeting Shanté, who is currently training as a Pilates instructor in Georgia.

Brion Acknowledges the Show’s Impact

Brion also pointed to the show’s editing as a factor in how viewers have perceived him.

He admitted that while the 10-episode season may have been edited to highlight his worst moments, producers could only work with the content he gave them.

“The editing doesn’t help, but I gave them everything they needed,” he said. “And I’m owning that.”

Looking Toward the Future

Among the four couples who joined the island in hopes of testing their relationships, Brion was arguably the most “tempted.” But despite the public fallout, he and Shanté are trying to move forward together.

As for what comes next, Brion is focused on repairing the damage, staying out of the spotlight, and building a new foundation with Shanté — away from the cameras.
