Garcelle Beauvais QUITS ‘RHOBH’ After 5 Seasons to Focus on Her Career!

Garcelle Beauvais is officially stepping away from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after five seasons. The actress and former talk show host shared the news on Instagram Tuesday, citing a desire to focus on family and new career opportunities.

“Hey guys! So I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she said in a video message. “It’s been a wild ride — I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have also happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless.”

Garcelle, 58, explained that part of her decision was driven by her sons’ milestones, including her twin boys’ final year of high school.

“Their last year of high school is next year and I want to be a part of that. And Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be a part of that, too,” she said. The Jamie Foxx Show alum also teased several exciting upcoming projects she’s producing, developing, and acting in.

Garcelle made history when she joined Real Housewives of Beverly Hills  in Season 10 as the franchise’s first Black cast member, calling the opportunity “an honor” and proudly representing “Black Girl Magic in every zip code.”

She expressed gratitude to Bravo, Andy Cohen, the producers, and her castmates, revealing that Andy told her she’s welcome to “come back anytime.”

She wrapped her farewell by thanking her fans: “It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. So, see you later.”

In addition to her reality TV success, Garcelle has had a long career in film and television with credits including Coming to America, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and White House Down. She also co-hosted The Real from 2020 to 2022 and runs her own production company, Garcelle Productions.
