Kim Zolciak is finally speaking out about her messy split from Kroy Biermann, revealing she feels “free” after their tumultuous marriage.

During a live taping of Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari, Kim broke down in tears as she opened up about the emotional toll of their separation, marking the first time she’s publicly addressed the breakup. “I’m finally free,” she told Kristin in the 20-minute sit-down, which was recorded for an upcoming E! reality series.

Kim didn’t hold back, shedding light on the financial struggles she faced while married to Kroy. She claimed that for years, she was the sole provider for their family, while his 401(k) remained untouched. “He only got a job late last year—his first since leaving the NFL in 2015,” she pointed out.

She also addressed long-standing rumors about her gambling, insisting she never went to casinos alone. “Kroy was right there with me,” Kim alleged, claiming he also took part in reckless spending.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star also made a startling accusation, revealing that Kroy had installed cameras all over their home—including in the bathroom—to monitor her. Now that she’s out, she says she finally feels comfortable speaking her truth. Kim and Kroy’s divorce battle has played out in the public eye since they first filed in May 2023, with police reportedly being called to their home multiple times.

Their Georgia mansion, which recently sold for $2.75 million, was often the setting for their heated disputes.

Kim has recently revealed she’s officially back in the dating game despite her ongoing divorce from Kroy Biermann. Spotted at LAX on Tuesday by TMZ, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum shared that while she’s not actively playing the field, she is seeing someone special—and she’s loving every minute of it.

Though Kim remained tight-lipped about her mystery man’s identity, she teased a few hints when asked whether he’s in the entertainment industry or, like Kroy, a former athlete. While she wasn’t ready to spill all the details just yet, she made it clear that she’s happy and enjoying this new romance.

Beyond her dating life, Kim says she’s feeling better than ever, thanks to her kids being in a good place and her recent move into a new home.

With a fresh start ahead, she appears to be putting the chaos of her highly publicized split behind her.
