Court Documents Reveal Porsha Williams REFUSED to Marry Simon Guobadia Until He Showed His Bank Records – Was He HIDING Something?

Porsha Williams is pulling out all the stops in her legal battle against estranged husband Simon Guobadia.

In Touch exclusively reports that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star introduced a bombshell witness in court as she fights to enforce their prenuptial agreement. Porsha, 43, submitted an affidavit from attorney Jordan B. Forman, who represented her in 2021 while negotiating the prenup with Simon, 60.

According to Jordan’s affidavit, Simon was represented by his attorney, Alex Cutler, but significant delays in the negotiation process stemmed from Simon’s failure to provide financial disclosures.

“Throughout the process of the parties’ negotiation of the prenuptial agreement, there were significant delays that extended the process over several months,” Jordan stated in the court filing.

“The most significant factor causing delays in the negotiation process was [Simon’s] inability to produce information regarding his income, assets, and liabilities,” he explained. Jordan further claimed that Porsha was adamant about receiving full financial disclosures before marrying Simon.

“There had been discussions between the parties about the wedding(s) occurring in August and September 2022. However, those weddings never occurred, at least in part due to [Simon’s] failure to provide [Porsha] information relating to his income, assets, and liabilities,” Jordan continued. “As a result, the wedding was postponed until the week of Thanksgiving in late November 2022.”

The filing states that Simon finally produced his financial information in the fall of 2022, and the couple signed the final prenuptial agreement at Simon’s attorney’s office on November 17, 2022—just days before their wedding.

Porsha filed for divorce in February 2024, just 15 months after the wedding, but Simon is now challenging the validity of their prenuptial agreement.

The hearing was originally scheduled for this month, but days before it was set to take place, Simon was taken into custody by ICE due to alleged immigration issues.

Simon’s legal team has since filed an **emergency motion** to delay the hearing, arguing that he cannot properly participate in the proceedings from ICE detention.

Simon’s attorney requested that the hearing be postponed until he is released, stating that the outcome of the motion “will have a substantial effect on how the remainder of the divorce case proceeds.” Porsha, however, is not backing down. Her legal team objected to the motion, arguing that Simon’s current situation is entirely his own doing.

“Husband’s detention by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement is the direct result of his attempt to illegally enter the United States,” Porsha’s lawyer stated.

“This detention is a foreseeable legal consequence of his actions and not an act of ‘divine intervention’ as claimed.”

With Simon detained and fighting for a delay in court, it remains to be seen whether the judge will enforce the prenup Porsha is demanding or if Simon will succeed in his efforts to challenge the agreement.

One thing is for sure—this divorce battle is far from over, and with Real Housewives of Atlanta  filming in full swing, Porsha’s legal showdown with Simon may play out in front of Bravo cameras.
