Melissa Gorga BLAMES Cast for RUINING ‘RHONJ’ With Scheming, Fake Drama, and Leaking Stories!

Melissa Gorga isn’t holding back when it comes to The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s unexpected pause.

During the February 27 episode of her On Display podcast, Melissa, 45, addressed why Bravo put the series on hold after season 14 and speculated about what’s next for season 15—hinting at a potential hybrid cast.

“It’s very hard to create a true, genuine friendship with people who—even when the cameras aren’t on—are already plotting what’s going to happen when they are on,” she explained. “That is what killed it, quite frankly, for the last couple of years,” she said. “It was a game. It was a constant game and it was a hunger game.”

She continued, slamming the constant strategizing behind the scenes. “All the planning and planning and planning and plotting—I’m like, ‘Jesus Christ, do you guys ever sleep?’ I don’t know how you do anything else. I have a lot of businesses to run here. Believe me, I’m not planning sh*t.”

Melissa also called out certain cast members for being unwilling to embrace change, which she believes stunted the show’s evolution. “Some people just can’t get off their high horses or they can’t accept change or invite new people in,” she said.

“They’re almost insecure to have the change because then it means that you’re not, or that I’m not the head honcho anymore,” she said. “That’s how we move forward in life. That’s how we keep things interesting.”

“It can’t be the same 10 things over and over and over, or the same 10 lines. Someone bang my head against the wall. So over it,” she added. Melissa also shared how exhausting it was to be targeted by online leaks 24/7, hinting that certain cast members were working with bloggers to push a narrative.

“The sh*t that was going on online would take the souls from us,” she said. “It was like 24 hours a day, and we were like, ‘Where are they getting it from? Are these people working for someone?’”

She then threw another dig at her former co-stars, saying: “They cared way too much. There’s still a few out there that care way too much.” Although Bravo has yet to confirm details about RHONJ’s return, Melissa is convinced the show will be back with some major changes. “We don’t have any answers, [but] one thing I do know is that I do believe it will come back,” she stated.

According to Melissa, a full cast reboot isn’t likely, but she believes a hybrid cast—mixing old and new faces—is the most probable scenario.

“I believe it will be a hybrid. I believe there will be some new, some old… I do not think they’re gonna revamp the whole show. They tried that once, I don’t think they’re gonna do that.” She also confirmed that the show won’t be returning in 2025. “And I know, I think we can say ‘know,’ that it’s not gonna film until 2026. Like, it’s not happening this year.”

With RHONJ’s future still uncertain, one thing is clear—Melissa is ready for a shakeup.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on pause, with no official return date announced by Bravo.
