Craig Conover CLAPS BACK at Paige DeSorbo’s Cheating Claims – Says It Never Happened!

Craig Conover is finally breaking his silence on his split from Paige DeSorbo—shutting down cheating accusations and making it clear that New York was never where he saw his future. 

The Southern Charm star, 35, broke his silence about his split from Paige DeSorbo, firmly denying her recent accusations that he was texting other women during their relationship. The claims, which surfaced during the Summer House premiere, didn’t sit well with Craig, who made it clear he had remained faithful.

“It was disappointing to see the direction that her and the show went,” Craig shared during his appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. “I’m just grateful for the three years of a relationship that we had. It was really great.”

While discussing the accusations, Craig didn’t hesitate to shut them down. When asked directly if he had been in contact with other women while dating Paige, he simply replied, “No.” He then suggested that the Summer House scene may have been filmed in “retaliation” and admitted that he often smiles as a defense mechanism when facing difficult situations.

Despite the split, Craig maintains he’s in a better place now, saying, “I am a hundred times better version of myself now than I was, and I think she is too.” His Southern Charm co-star Shep Rose even backed him up, calling Craig’s unwavering loyalty the “most frustrating” thing about him.

“I think the best thing that you can have in a relationship is that security, not worrying what your partner is doing,” Conover added. “So no, I wasn’t [cheating]. But you can’t control other people.”

Though Conover has refused to speak on rumors surrounding DeSorbo’s alleged infidelity, he acknowledged that she faced backlash following their breakup. Paige, for her part, also denied any wrongdoing, but tensions between the former couple remain high.

While some fans held out hope that the two could remain friends, Paige recently shut down that idea, stating that Craig is “dead to her” now.

One major issue in their relationship was where they would live, and Craig has been open about his preference for Charleston over New York. “The city’s not for me,” he admitted. “I love New York City, [but] I want to live at the beach, have a backyard, a garden… This is where I want to raise kids.”

Summer House airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo, while Southern Charm airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET.
