Brittany Cartwright Throws Jax Under The Bus Amid Their ‘Difficult’ Co-Parenting Drama!

Brittany Cartwright didn’t hold back as she revealed the struggles of co-parenting with Jax Taylor, throwing him under the bus amid their ongoing and “difficult” relationship dynamics.

Brittany Cartwright, 36, has shared insights into the challenges she’s faced while co-parenting with her ex-husband, Jax Taylor, and navigating life as a single mother.

The Valley star, who announced her split from Jax in February of last year, filed for divorce a few months later, marking a turbulent chapter in her personal life. In a recent episode of her When Reality Hits podcast, Brittany revealed how their co-parenting dynamic has been complicated by personal struggles and how she’s adjusting to single life.

Co-Parenting Challenges with Jax Taylor

Brittany opened up about the difficulties she has faced in her relationship with Jax post-separation. She hinted at “things that happened” between them that made their co-parenting relationship even more complicated, though she refrained from providing specific details. Brittany did, however, suggest that these issues would be explored in the upcoming season of Vanderpump Rules.

“There’s a lot of things about Jax and I that you guys will find out throughout the [new] season that I can’t really talk on right now, but it’s been really hard for me,” Brittany shared. “There’s been things that happened within the past couple of months that you guys will find out about that made it even more difficult, but we’re really, really trying to push through.”

Despite the ups and downs, Brittany expressed cautious optimism that Jax is working to improve his behavior, particularly in recent weeks.

“I think within the past couple of weeks, he’s really trying to step up and be better. And I’m hoping it continues on that way,” she said. However, Brittany admitted that she often finds herself waiting for things to take a turn for the worse, given the unpredictable nature of their relationship.

“I’m always just waiting for things to crash because that’s just been my life lately… Things can be good one moment, and then things can be bad the next,” she added.

Adjusting to Single Life

As Brittany adjusts to life as a single mother, she revealed some of the realities of being on her own after being in a relationship for nearly a decade. While she does experience loneliness at times, especially given her long history with Jax, she also enjoys certain aspects of being single.

“I can get lonely sometimes [because I’m] used to being in a relationship for like 10 years, somebody’s with you 24/7,” Brittany explained. “But my favorite thing about being single would be not having to clean up after somebody else … I have my house back finally, and it’s just like, okay, I’m not having to shut all the cabinet doors or … close the silverware drawer back.”

Brittany also shared that Jax occasionally comes over to help with household tasks when they’re getting along, but she has no intention of selling their home.

New Ventures and Moving Forward

Brittany is also focusing on her career, with her restaurant, *Brits WeHo*, set to open around late March after delays due to the recent wildfires. The new business venture comes as she continues to move forward with her life, balancing motherhood, co-parenting, and her entrepreneurial aspirations.

Romantic Life and the Absence of Lisa Vanderpump’s Support

When asked if she’s seeing someone special, Brittany confirmed that while she’s “having a little bit of fun” and has “some crushes,” she is not currently in a relationship.

Although Brittany has stayed in touch with her Vanderpump Rules co-star Ariana Madix, she revealed that Lisa Vanderpump has not reached out to her even once throughout her divorce from Jax. This lack of communication from Lisa, who has been a key figure in Brittany’s life during her time on the show, came as a surprise to Brittany.

“Lisa has not reached out,” Brittany shared. “Not even one time” during this difficult period.

As Brittany continues to navigate her life post-divorce, it’s clear that she is focusing on herself and her family while also looking forward to new beginnings, both personally and professionally. Fans will likely continue to follow her journey on Vanderpump Rules and beyond.
