Source Reveals Katie Maloney & Ariana Madix Are NOT Getting Along While Working at Their Sandwich Shop!

Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix are reportedly clashing big-time at their West Hollywood sandwich shop, Something About Her, as tensions run high over their differing visions and work styles!

As Ariana shifts her focus from the whirlwind aftermath of “Scandoval” to a more hands-on role in the restaurant, Katie, who has had a different vision for the business, has reportedly grown frustrated with the situation.

“Katie and Ariana are not doing well working together. And it’s bubbling up and has the potential to get bad,” a Reddit user shared in a February 4 post, noting that they couldn’t prove the claim but felt it was becoming a real issue.

Katie, 38, had been managing the restaurant mostly on her own while Ariana, 39, was tied up with other commitments following her highly publicized breakup with Tom Sandoval in March 2023.

However, now that Ariana is more involved in the daily operations of Something About Her, the two women have clashed over their differing visions and working styles.

“Now that Ariana is more focused on Something About Her, her and Katie have been butting heads because they have different visions, working styles, etc.,” the user explained. “They operate like night and day. Initially, I think they thought their differences would complement each other, but it’s not, it’s just causing resentment.”

As they continue to work together, Katie and Ariana’s mutual friends have reportedly been trying to keep the peace between the two, but it’s been challenging.

“They used to bring up Something About Her as conversation but now mutual friends try to avoid bringing it up because they don’t want to be put in the middle,” the source shared.

“But they are scared Katie and Ariana’s issues will make people choose sides, comparing it to a breakup.” In one moment of frustration, Katie even reportedly said, “I see now why we’ve never been close before.”

Katie is said to be especially mindful of how public perception will affect their relationship, worried that any criticism of Ariana, no matter how constructive, would be met with backlash. She’s “someone so beloved,” the user explained. Katie also allegedly fears if people had to pick sides, they would choose Ariana because she’s the ‘It Girl’ now.
