‘RHODubai’ Star Chanel Ayan Claims Brynn Whitfield Could’ve RUINED Ubah Hassan’s Career!
Chanel Ayan is slamming Brynn Whitfield after the explosive Real Housewives of New York finale, calling out the star for crossing a line with her toxic behavior towards her cousin, Ubah Hassan.
The drama unfolded on the recent season finale when Brynn insinuated that Ubah knew about Brynn’s past sexual assault while continuing to spread rumors that Brynn had slept with someone to secure her spot on the show. Ubah vehemently denied this, and her co-stars later suggested that Brynn had fabricated the entire narrative.
The RHODubai star Chanel took to Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast to express her frustration, stating, “I would like to pay for Brynn’s therapy, just so she can get better.”
She didn’t hold back when describing the impact of Brynn’s actions, adding, “Because what you did to my family is really crazy.”
Chanel also explained that Ubah did not want her to speak out further, but she felt compelled to do so, stressing, “This could have ruined [Ubah’s] career, could have ruined her business. Could ruin who she is. Because it’s not something simple. It’s … not a joke.”
The situation reminded Chanel of the infamous “Phaedra Parks situation” from season nine of Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Phaedra spread a malicious rumor about Kandi Burruss and her husband.
“It’s not something simple. It’s … not a joke,” Chanel continued, drawing parallels between Brynn’s actions and the severe fallout that followed Phaedra’s lies, which led to her departure from the show.
Despite the drama, Chanel emphasized that Ubah is not the type to hold grudges, saying, “[Ubah]’s not the type of person that will hold grudges. She’s not the type of person that wishes bad on people.”
She added that if Brynn returns to the show, she should stop “producing” and just be herself.
The casting company behind RHONY, Shed Casting, fueled these speculations when they posted an image featuring the show’s logo along with the caption, “It’s that time… come and get your apple.” Fans have since expressed their unease, with many fearing that Brynn is becoming too “dangerous” for the show.
