The Comment That Started It All
In the latest RHOBH episode, Garcelle encouraged Kyle to embrace her life and live authentically. “Do whatever the f*ck you want to do,” Garcelle said. “Be whoever you want to be. If you want to be a lesbian, be a lesbian.” The remark quickly became a hot topic, with some questioning Garcelle’s intentions.
On the RHOBH After Show, Kyle reflected on the moment and didn’t hold back. “What was really going through my head was, ‘You’re being an assh*le right now. And don’t try to act like, oopsy daisies. You know exactly what you’re doing,’” Kyle said.
Garcelle Responds: “It Wasn’t Malicious”
When TMZ caught up with Garcelle to ask about the controversy, the RHOBH star was unapologetic. “No,” she said when asked if she regretted the comment, rolling her eyes with a smile. “I wasn’t saying it to be malicious.”
She explained, “It was more about, we’re powerful women, we can be whatever we want to be. So it wasn’t a dig, it was just supposed to inspire her to do whatever she wants to do.”
Calling Kyle’s Words “Shady”
Garcelle also addressed Kyle’s “assh*le” comment, pointing out the contradiction in Kyle’s actions. “It’s so funny because we laughed about it afterwards,” Garcelle said. “So for her to say that was pretty shady.”
When asked if she would take the comment back, Garcelle stood her ground. “No, I don’t take it back,” she said, doubling down on her belief that her words were meant to empower rather than offend.
