Lala Kent Reveals She ‘May Never See’ Katie Maloney Again After Explosive Fallout!
Lala Kent isn’t sugarcoating the end of her friendship with Katie Maloney, revealing that their bond is broken beyond repair and admitting they “may never see each other again.”
Tensions between Lala and Katie escalated during the Season 11 finale and reunion. Katie was upset with how Lala handled her feelings about Ariana and accused her of being disingenuous.
“I felt like, obviously, she had been harboring certain feelings and thinking certain things that I didn’t know that she had felt, and so she was saving them for the reunion,” Katie shared in a recent interview. “I didn’t feel like [it] was super authentic. I was just grossed out.”
Katie’s frustration with Lala was only compounded by her decision to leave Vanderpump Rules before the reboot was announced, suggesting that their friendship wouldn’t have survived the on-screen drama regardless.
Lala recently opened up about the demise of their friendship during an appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast. She reflected on how much Katie meant to her before their falling out.
“Katie was everything to me,” Lala admitted. “It was the strangest season that I’ve ever been a part of. It was all very sad. And Katie and I have two very different viewpoints on what happened and the demise of our friendship.”
Lala also pushed back against Katie’s claim that she strategically held back her feelings to confront her at the reunion. “She sees it one way, and I don’t like that I was painted to be someone who pockets information and brings it out at a convenient time. Because that’s not what happened,” she explained.
While Lala expressed a willingness to let bygones be bygones, she acknowledged that their friendship may be over for good.
“We can go over this all the live long day. It doesn’t matter. What’s done is done,” Lala said.
“We may be able to rebuild at some point, or we may never see each other again. Who the f*ck knows, right? But I do want her to be happy in her life. She deserves that.”
Adding to the finality, Lala revealed that she and Katie haven’t spoken since the reunion aired. For now, it seems the door on their friendship has been firmly closed, leaving fans to wonder if the two will ever find their way back to each other.
