Kim Richards CALLS COPS Over ‘Stolen Cat’ – Ends Up in Mental Health Evaluation!

Kim Richards, former star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is once again at the center of concerning headlines.

Over the weekend before Christmas, Kim called police to report a “stolen cat,” but the situation quickly escalated into a mental health evaluation by authorities. This latest incident highlights the ongoing struggles for the former reality star and her family’s attempts to support her through a challenging period.

According to TMZ, on December 22, LAPD officers responded to Kim’s home after she claimed someone had stolen her cat but later said it was returned.

During the call, Kim reportedly went on a rant about her sister Kyle Richards, which raised concerns among the responding officers. A mental health team was dispatched to evaluate Kim, but they ultimately determined she was not an immediate danger to herself or others.

Paramedics also arrived at the scene but left shortly after as no medical transport was necessary.

This isn’t the first time law enforcement has been called regarding Kim’s behavior. Back in September, the former child star was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold after an incident at an L.A.-area Hilton Hotel, where she was found incoherent and refusing to leave.

The 5150 hold allows for a 72-hour psychiatric evaluation for individuals deemed a danger to themselves or others. Later that month, officers were called to a home owned by her sister Kyle Richards after neighbors reported Kim’s erratic behavior.

Kyle reportedly told officers she no longer wanted her sister staying at the property.

These incidents have reportedly pushed the Richards family to adopt a “tough love” approach, with the hope of addressing Kim’s struggles with sobriety and mental health.

A source close to the family revealed, “They’re worried about her health and safety, and they feel like they’re at a breaking point. They’ve tried everything to help her.”

Fans of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills can catch the show’s return on January 7 at 8/7c on Bravo.
