Lindsay Hubbard is turning motherhood into a moneymaking empire, proving she’s not just a reality star but a business powerhouse.
During a candid chat on Jason Tartick’s Trading Secrets podcast, Lindsay revealed the thought process behind her decision to partner with Clearblue for her pregnancy announcement in July. “They were like, ‘I can’t believe she monetized her pregnancy announcement,’” she said of the backlash. “And it’s like, ‘Why not? I’m gonna make the announcement anyway, why not make money from it?’”
Lindsay explained that she had used a Clearblue digital test to confirm her pregnancy in April and saw an opportunity.
“Why not go to them and say, ‘Hey, I used your test, I’m about to announce my pregnancy, do you want to sponsor this?’” The partnership proved lucrative, earning her $28,000 for the promotion and contributing to her $100,000 earnings for 2024.
The Bravolebrity also addressed her shift away from her PR career, saying, “This is how I make my money. I’m not doing PR anymore, I’m not sitting behind a desk.” Instead, she’s embracing the influence that comes with her reality TV platform to support her family.
Lindsay continued sharing her journey with her 700,000 Instagram followers after Gemma’s birth. A carousel of labor and delivery photos earned significant traction, with Lindsay reflecting on the emotional experience.
“What a beautiful journey to finally meet our baby girl. When it was ‘go time,’ it felt like such an intimate, spiritual ceremony with just us—filled with so much hope and excitement for this new chapter,” she wrote in the heartfelt post.
The Summer House star even hinted at expanding her family in the future, teasing plans for another baby. “A special thanks to our doctor and the team of nurses who took incredible care of us during our hospital stay!! Until next time…,” she added.
While critics question her approach, Lindsay is clear about her goals: maximizing her platform and turning major milestones into financial opportunities.
