Alexis Bellino Reveals Bravo FIRED Her After ‘RHOC’ Season 18!
Alexis Bellino’s Real Housewives of Orange County comeback sparked major drama—and now she’s blaming fan backlash for her firing.
In a recent appearance on the Going Rogue podcast, Alexis confirmed her departure and shared her thoughts on being left out of the next chapter. “I was not asked back next season,” Alexis admitted candidly. While the news wasn’t entirely unexpected, the timing caught her off guard.
“I can’t say it came as a shock—it did not come as a shock. It was a hard conversation. … I guess I wasn’t really prepared [because] I didn’t think contracts were coming out—like, I thought we had more time,” she explained.
“So it was a shock when the call came, but I was never shocked about that information.” Despite the sting of rejection, Alexis found a silver lining. “It was a little bit of a relief. I mean nobody wants the rejection, and no one wants to [hear] you’re not asked back,” she shared.
“But it already happened to me. It happened to me in season 8. I’ve been there, done that!” Reflecting on her recent stint, Bellino admitted she felt she received a “villain edit” during the season.
Alexis Bellino’s feud with Shannon Beador and her staunch defense of fiancé John Janssen only fueled the drama. Their tension likely played a key role in her unexpected firing from The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Alexis hoped for a resolution that would allow everyone to stay on the show. “I still thought there might be a way they can make it work for everybody to come back. But you know, the cards played the way they did,” she said.
“How do they bring someone back who is not a fan favorite vs. the fan favorite?” Alexis added, seemingly acknowledging Shannon’s strong presence on the show. “And I get that.”
While Alexis appears to be handling the news with grace, her exit leaves fans wondering what could have been.
