‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Dorit Kemsley GOES OFF On Camille Grammer at Kyle Richards’ Party

Th December 17th episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills kicks off with Jennifer Tilly hosting Kyle Richards and Sutton Stracke at her two Bel Air home. Kyle, always the center of attention, seemed a little off as she talked about her upcoming party — the first one she’d thrown without Mauricio by her side. It was a bit of a change, and she admitted she felt uneasy without him. Hosting had always been something they did together, and now she was stepping into the role solo, unsure of what it would feel like.

As the conversation shifted, they moved onto rehashing the drama during the Oceanside trip. Kyle opened up about the blow-up with Dorit Kemsley. She explains that they worked things out and she feels lighter, but now Sutton has issues with Dorit. Sutton explains that she just wanted the group to understand that everyone should be able to voice their feelings without feeling ganged up on. But Dorit, it seemed, had completely missed the point by continuing to talk about Teddi Mellencamp. Sutton felt like Dorit wasn’t listening at all.

Dorit and Erika

Across town, Erika Jayne visits Dorit, apparently these two are now besties. Dorit confesses that she’s been feeling exhausted lately and hasn’t put in much effort in other areas of her life — especially when it comes to her relationship with PK. In fact, she hasn’t spoken to him in two weeks, and the separation is taking a toll on her. Erika is understanding, as Dorit opens up about how isolated she feels and how the group isn’t exactly giving her the support she needs right now.

Dorit can’t help but laugh at the irony of Sutton, of all people, leading the “sisterhood” charge, especially when Sutton has been raising her voice at Dorit. Erika, not missing a beat, shares that she, too, had a moment where she “lost it” on Sutton in the Sprinter van. It’s clear that tensions are high all around.

Denim and Diamonds Party: Kyle’s Solo Endeavor

Kyle Richards hosts her first solo event, a Denim and Diamonds party, amid her separation from Mauricio. She expresses feeling “a little bit lost” without Mauricio’s assistance in planning. At the event, she confides in Camille Grammer about the challenges of their separation, noting that Mauricio is enjoying a “bachelor pad” lifestyle. Camille comments, “Midlife crisis, this is fun, young girls. … I know it. Been there, done that.” Kyle reflects that Camille might be “projecting a bit,” given her own past experiences.

Tensions Rise: Sutton and Dorit’s Confrontation

During the party, Bozoma Saint John initiates a discussion about recent conflicts, particularly between Sutton Stracke and Dorit Kemsley. Sutton confronts Dorit, stating, “You’re angry and you’re not angry at me. You’re angry at your life. Don’t take it out on me. It is not my fault that you are in the position that you’re in.”

Kyle considers this a “low blow,” acknowledging the truth in Sutton’s words but questioning the timing. Dorit responds candidly, admitting, “My life sucks right now. I am not in a good place at all and I have zero tolerance for more bulls—. It’s as simple as that. How’s that for transparent and honest and open?”

Camille’s Interjection: Revisiting Past Grievances

Camille interjects, recalling her own hardships, including losing her home and assistant, and feeling a lack of empathy from Dorit during that time. Dorit retorts, “Honey, you were a total c— to me,” referencing a past incident where she jokingly called Camille a “stupid c—.” The exchange escalates, with Dorit questioning Camille’s presence at the event, suggesting she is seeking attention. Camille counters by implying that Dorit has changed, stating, “You’re a different person now, Dorit. I don’t know what happened to you, but you’ve changed.”

Group Dynamics: Erika’s Subtle Input

Erika Jayne remains mostly silent during the confrontation but subtly interjects by reminding Camille of her name when forgotten, adding a layer of tension to the interaction. In her confessional, Erika succinctly comments, “C—,” reflecting the charged atmosphere of the evening.

The episode concludes with unresolved tensions among the group, particularly between Kyle and Dorit, and Sutton and Dorit. The dynamics suggest that these conflicts may continue to unfold in future episodes, offering viewers a deeper insight into the personal challenges and relationships within the group.
