Dorit Kemsley Talks FAKE FEUD With Kyle Richards and Shades Sutton Stracke!
Dorit Kemsley isn’t holding back, addressing her so-called feud with Kyle Richards and throwing subtle shade at Sutton Stracke in the latest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills drama-filled revelations.
Dorit Addresses Excitement for Her Return
The highly anticipated return of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is making waves, and Dorit Kemsley is stepping into the spotlight this season. With rumors swirling about cast shakeups and her dynamic with Kyle Richards heating up, Dorit promises viewers plenty of drama.
Speaking with Deadline, Dorit opened up about her more “activated” role this season.
“I love the positivity. I think it’s cute and it’s funny that it gets translated as season seven,” she said, referencing fans who believe her energy resembles her bold earlier seasons. “This season I had a lot of things to say and a lot going on, and I was coming into my power for a multitude of reasons.”
Dorit revealed that her journey back to confidence began with addressing her lingering trauma.
“The last few years I had been really affected by the home invasion and things that were going on in my marriage and [in my] personal life, and how it was affecting my overall health [so] I ended up doing something about it and getting better and stronger and healthier, primarily, through a business venture that I got into which helped treat a lot of my overall physical and emotional health.”
Opening Up About Marital Troubles
This season also sees Dorit candidly discussing her marital issues with PK Kemsley.
“As you can see, that pertains to me sharing with the ladies what was going on with PK and I,” she explained. “We were not in a great place when we started the season, and we hadn’t seen one another since the reunion.”
Dorit acknowledged that her relationship with PK had become strained over time but credited the show for giving her a platform to address their challenges openly. She also revealed that PK’s filmed conversations with Mauricio Umansky about their marriage were natural, given the close friendship between the two men. “Mo and PK are good friends. They spend a lot of time together. They’re very close,” she shared. “If I’m talking about my separation and my issues with my husband [with the other Housewives], [PK] being able to have a voice and share how he feels to someone other than me makes sense.”
The Feud with Kyle Richards
Dorit’s tension with Kyle Richards is a central storyline this season, with the drama dating back well before last year’s infamous text messages. “Our relationship took a tumble way before that text message,” Dorit clarified. “There was a series of events over a sustained period of time that led me to feel like, ‘Okay, I’m done. Enough is enough.’”
She explained that sharing Kyle’s text messages with Erika Jayne was her way of seeking advice. “I was confiding in a friend that I was feeling like one of my best friends was not even treating me as if we were friends any longer.” While Dorit stood by her decision to share the texts, she admitted she might handle the situation with Kyle differently if given the chance.
Rumors of a Cast Shakeup
When asked about speculation that her position on the show was at risk, Dorit dismissed the rumors. “If I spent or invested time in the rumors, then I’d be living a very different life,” she said. “There was a moment in time [when] I was choosing not to do the show, and I decided to walk because there was a lot going on in my life, and I was questioning whether or not I should do the show.”
She added, “I certainly didn’t go into this season putting it on, if you will, to keep my job. When I know that it’s over, it’s over. But that would be a choice that I make and for good reason.”
Feuds with Sutton Stracke and Other Teasers
Dorit hinted at a heated conflict with Sutton Stracke this season, describing their interactions as tense. “Sutton likes to get in there. Sutton likes to be front and center, and she likes to poke and prod,” Dorit said. “I certainly wasn’t up for it, so we rub heads for sure, but you’ll have to watch and see.”
The reality star also teased “interesting things that happen between Garcelle and I,” leaving fans eager to see how those dynamics play out.
A Season Full of Drama
Dorit’s refreshed energy and willingness to tackle her personal and interpersonal challenges promise to make this season of RHOBH a must-watch. From her evolving relationship with Kyle to the revelations about her marriage, the drama is just getting started.
