Earlier this month, Kenya Moore addressed her dramatic firing from RHOA during an appearance on The Tamron Hall Show. Reflecting on the events that derailed her role in Season 16, Kenya stated she was taking “full accountability” for her actions in the controversy.
Even Andy Cohen weighed in, saying he was “happy” with Kenya’s reflection on the situation. Phaedra, however, had a different perspective.
Speaking with Access during Bravo Fan Fest, Phaedra shared her thoughts on the drama surrounding Kenya’s firing.
Although she wasn’t part of the cast during Season 16, she admitted to catching up on the footage. “I don’t have a take on it. I mean, I wasn’t there,” Phaedra began, before adding her sharp critique. “Obviously, I’ve seen all the footage and the pictures. It sounded very Kenya to me.”
The comment, dripping with shade, is a reminder of the rocky history between the two Housewives. With Kenya’s firing leaving a noticeable gap in the cast, Phaedra is returning to RHOA for Season 16, though her role will be limited.
During Bravo Fan Fest, she teased her brief return, confidently claiming that she brought new life to the show.
“I revived it,” Phaedra declared. “I’m only on six episodes—maybe five or six episodes—so I’m there for a good time, not a long time.”
Though her stint on the show is short, Phaedra hinted that her presence would make a big impact, suggesting her comeback might outshine the controversy surrounding Kenya’s exit.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 16 is set to premiere in 2025, and fans are already bracing for the drama.
