‘RHOBH’ RECAP: Dorit Calls PK A “Drunk” and Exposes Kyle Richards’ Manipulation In Season 14 Premiere! 

Sutton Visits Jennifer Tilly 

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 14 premiere opens with Sutton Stracke visiting her close friend Jennifer Tilly at her lovely home. Jennifer, with her signature charm and warmth, immediately sets the tone for a heartwarming and easygoing scene. Their mellow friendship, free of drama, offers a refreshing change from the usual tension-packed dynamics of the show.

The pair catches up with some lighthearted conversation, reminiscing about last year’s trip to Spain and discussing Sutton’s late friend Merce’s ashes. The bittersweet moment highlights Sutton’s sentimental side as she reflects on her friendships.

The conversation takes a serious turn as Sutton brings up Kyle Richards, acknowledging that Kyle has been dealing with a lot in her personal life.

“I need to be a more supportive friend,” Sutton admits, showing a willingness to set aside past conflicts and step up for Kyle during a challenging time.

Dorit Kemsley Opens Up About Her Separation From PK

Dorit Kemsley meets with the last person you would think she confide in, Erika Jayne, to drop a bomb  that she and her husband PK have decided to part ways after nearly a decade together – marking the first time she reveals the split to anyone in the group.

 “The bad news, PK and I have agreed to separate. Take it in,” Dorit says during the emotional conversation. “It’s sad and it’s hard. It’s also no secret, we’ve had a really rough couple of years.”

In a confessional, Dorit reflects on the irony of confiding in Erika first, referencing Erika’s infamous prediction at BravoCon 2022 when she speculates Dorit and PK will be the next Bravo couple to break up.

“I don’t think she saw something that I didn’t see,” Dorit explains. “I think she knew there was trouble in paradise. She had a shady question; she answered it with a shady answer.”

PK’s Alleged Alcohol Struggles

During her discussion with Erika, Dorit claims that PK’s drinking has created significant tension in their marriage.

“He was pouring alcohol on his problems,” Dorit says, alleging that the situation becomes “very, very, very toxic.”

Dorit reveals that PK achieved sobriety earlier in the year, as she mentions during the season 13 reunion in February when their relationship seems to be improving. However, she notes that things fall apart soon after.

Dorit explains that the decision to separate isn’t the result of a single explosive event.

“A week ago, there was a moment, and it was over nothing, and one thing led to another,” Dorit recalls. “We sat down like two very mature adults, who love and care about one another and mutually decided that taking some space and separating is the best thing for us.”

She emphasizes that they are approaching the separation “day by day” without a definitive timeline for their next steps.

Despite the separation, Dorit and PK choose not to share the news with their children, Jagger, 10, and Phoenix, 8, in an effort to keep things harmonious.

“We can be doing things as a family. We’re not in a toxic place,” Dorit explains.

Dorit admits that she isn’t fully on board with PK’s decision to separate, questioning why they can’t try to work through their issues.

“I wouldn’t have chosen this route,” she says. “There’s something between having an argument and separating. You can work it out, but for whatever reason … this is necessary.”

In her confessional, Dorit reflects on standing by PK through his public scandals and legal troubles.

“For PK, it’s poof, let’s just get a separation. Isn’t there a way to meet in the middle?” she asks. “Obviously, but not with someone like PK. It’s black. It’s white. It’s extreme.”

During a visit to Kathy Hilton’s house, Dorit shares details of her troubled marriage and Kathy inquires if the estranged couple still have intimacy despite their separation, Dorit responds candidly.

“Do we still have sex?” Dorit repeats. “No. It’s all so fresh and new.”

PK Opens Up to Mauricio Over Lunch

During a heartfelt lunch, PK Kemsley wastes no time confiding in Mauricio Umansky about the emotional toll of his recent separation from Dorit. He admits that things have been far from easy since their public announcement and reveals that the separation, which he initiated, has been harder than he anticipated.

PK shares that he has recently sobered up, allowing him to gain clarity about the issues in his marriage.

“It’s not balanced,” PK explains to Mauricio. “Dorit doesn’t listen.”

Reflecting on their early days as a couple, PK reminisces about how they were once inseparable, likening themselves to a modern-day Bonnie and Clyde. But as he explains, life eventually got in the way.

“An expensive lifestyle and babies changed everything,” he admits.

While he acknowledges that the decision to separate was ultimately his, PK candidly expresses how difficult it’s been to adjust to the reality of their situation. 

Kyle Deflects and Lie About Morgan Wade Rumors

During Sutton’s surrealism-themed soirée, Kyle Richards takes a seat at a table with Garcelle Beauvais and Erika Jayne to address the ongoing speculation about her lesbian relationship with country singer, Morgan Wade. Kyle starts by blaming the media, explaining how the rumors have spiraled out of control.

“I know there’s a lot of curiosity about the person they always talk about,” Kyle says to the group. “I’m not using her name intentionally. I don’t want to speak on anyone’s behalf except my own.”

Kyle states that “right now, there’s nothing to say” about her and Wade, adding, “I wish I had some story to say, but that’s just not what it is.”

In her confessional, Garcelle questions Kyle’s sudden decision to stop mentioning Morgan’s name.

“It’s a little late to stop saying Morgan’s name,” Garcelle points out. “We’ve been talking about her. She’s been with us.”

The rumors initially surfaced after Kyle’s split from Mauricio Umansky in July 2023, following 27 years of marriage. During the discussion, Garcelle asks Kyle directly if she’s “not with” Morgan, and Kyle sheepishly responds, “I’m not.”

Kyle admits that the constant public speculation has created emotional strain, saying the attention has caused “pressure” for her. Garcelle, however, brings up Kyle’s appearance in Morgan’s August 2023 music video, “Fall In Love With Me,” where Kyle plays the singer’s love interest, noting, “The music video wasn’t helpful either. It felt very, like you were playing coy.”

Kyle explains, “It wasn’t just myself I was considering. It’s not my place to talk about other people. … I was still figuring things out myself. I still am.”

In her confessional, Kyle reflects on how the rumors about her sexuality have affected her.

“What’s hard is that I can only speak on my behalf,” she says. “I’m not here to speak on anyone’s behalf but my own, especially someone who’s not signed up to do this show and doesn’t want to be spoken about on the show. So that puts me in a very different position.”

While Kyle deflects and plays stupid, Garcelle remarks in her confessional:

“Kyle doesn’t owe us, or anybody, an explanation about her sexuality and what’s going on in her life. But do we want to know? Yes. Inquiring minds want to know.”

Kathy Hilton Steals the Show

As the discussion unfolds, Dorit and Bozoma Saint John approach the table. Dorit awkwardly buries her face in her phone, seemingly avoiding eye contact with Kyle, creating a tense atmosphere.

Kathy Hilton’s grand entrance, however, shifts the energy. Returning to the group, Kathy mispronounces Bozoma’s name but confidently insists her incorrect pronunciation is accurate. In true Kathy fashion, she then begins complaining about feeling overheated and, without hesitation, decides to remove her hair extensions mid-party.

Kyle steps in to assist as Kathy nonchalantly pulls out the extensions at the table, leaving Bozoma visibly stunned.

“I’ve never witnessed anything like this in my life,” Bozoma exclaims, clearly shocked.

Kathy’s antics add a much-needed dose of humor to the evening, providing the perfect comedic relief. Thank you, Kathy, for bringing the laughs!

Dorit Goes Off On Kyle For Being A Fake Friend

Tensions between Dorit and Kyle came to a head during Sutton’s party — Kyle finally pulls Dorit aside to discuss their issues.

“I would like to say I’m very sorry about what’s going on with you and PK. I know we both have a lot of hurt … we both have our sides,” Kyle begins, adding, “I know what hurt you, it was obviously what I said on Amazon Live.”

Dorit, however, doesn’t hold back, calling Kyle out for years of feeling mistreated.

“It was finally, I had enough,” Dorit responds. “I had enough of feeling like I am tossed around, used whenever you want, thrown away, made to feel like I have to reevaluate whether we were even friends.”

Kyle, taken aback, accuses Dorit of being “aggressive,” warning they won’t make progress with this tone.

“I’m hoping to get on the other side of this,” Kyle says.

Dorit, still visibly upset, makes it clear their road to reconciliation won’t be easy.

“I think it’s gonna take a long time, Kyle,” Dorit says firmly. “And we’re gonna have to get honest. I’m fed up, Kyle. Let’s be very honest and let’s actually really talk about real stuff. I’m not gonna put up with this s–t anymore, Kyle.”
