Kenya Moore FINALLY Admits She Got FIRED For Creating A Porn Poster of Brittany Eady: ‘I Didn’t Have To Take It That Far’
Kenya Admits Responsibility for Controversial Posters
Kenya Moore finally took accountability for the explicit poster scandal that led to her suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta earlier this year. Speaking on Tamron Hall during Thursday’s episode, Moore reflected on her actions.
“Hindsight is always 50/50,” Moore said. “If I could do it all over again — I believe the photos were very distasteful, and I elevated the situation. I’ve elevated situations before, and I’ve taken full accountability for the things that I’ve done.”
Kenya Moore, 53, added, “I am sorry for what I’ve done. I didn’t have to take it that far.”
The Scandal That Shocked Atlanta
The controversy began during Kenya’s hair spa grand opening in June, where explicit posters of newcomer Brittany Eady allegedly performing oral sex were displayed. The shocking visuals left guests stunned. At the time, Kenya denied any involvement, posting cryptically on her Instagram Story, “Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. The truth always comes to light.”
Despite her initial denials, Page Six later reported that Bravo had suspended Kenya indefinitely from the hit reality series.
Kenya Addresses Suspension Rumors
During her appearance on Tamron Hall, Kenya denied being fired from *RHOA*. “I am still under contract, and I am still an employee of the network,” she insisted. “I still receive checks from Bravo.”
She also pushed back on reports that she was investigated for revenge porn, claiming the network informed her otherwise. “The headlines that spread across the world were false,” Kenya said.
Bravo released a statement to Page Six, stating, “We take all allegations of violations of our policies seriously, reviewed the matter and took appropriate action.”
Kenya Explains Her Actions
Kenya explained her reasoning for displaying the explicit posters, saying her actions were in response to Brittany Eady’s behavior during filming. “Some of the new girls come on, and … they’re trying to make a name for themselves, especially when they’re not really showing up,” she said.
“But when you go too far, and that’s what happened — we were having a filming [event], and things took a really dark turn toward me. There was a young lady who was new, and she just was poking the bear,” Kenya added, referring to Brittany, though she did not mention her by name.
Quoting her own infamous tagline, Kenya said, “And everybody knows the saying that I made up: ‘Don’t come for me unless I send for you.’ That means, simply, I mind my business. I don’t start anything; I respond.”
“I Felt Threatened”
Kenya further claimed that a screaming match with Brittany left her feeling “threatened” and “scared.” She alleged that producers failed to address her concerns, leading her to take matters into her own hands. Kenya revealed that she found “a lot” of sexually explicit images of Brittany online but decided to display only one.
“I’ve never had a child and been in a situation like this before,” she said, becoming emotional. “So that’s why I escalated it to the point where I was protecting not only myself but my child.”
Kenya shares her 5-year-old daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly, with her ex-husband, Marc Daly.
Brittany Eady Responds
Following the poster incident, Brittany shared her feelings on Instagram in June, writing, “It’s never a good feeling being targeted or HAZED by someone I thought would embrace me into a new circle, that I never met.”
The incident has left a lasting impact on both women and created ripple effects for the show’s dynamics. Whether Kenya’s actions will permanently affect her future on RHOA remains to be seen.
