‘RHOP’ Star Karen Huger THROWS SHADE at Stacey Rusch and Her Relationship, Hints It’s Already Over!
Karen Huger may have brought Stacey Rusch into The Real Housewives of Potomac, but that didn’t stop her from throwing some serious shade her way.
In the RHOP Season 9 premiere, Stacey revealed she had separated from her husband and started dating a man named Thomas Anthony Jones, also known as TJ. The two met through her job at QVC, and Stacey disclosed that they’ve been celibate—a lifestyle choice that Karen seems to have a hard time accepting.
“Well, they’re not married. It was a sexless relationship,” Karen quipped during her chat with Us Weekly. She added with a sly nod to her own long-term marriage, “There’s a difference. I’m married. Twenty-eight years. Praise the Lord. Shout-out to Ray.”
Karen didn’t stop there. Stacey shared on the show that TJ is a “devout Christian” and that she believed their relationship was heading toward marriage. However, Karen had her doubts about the future of Stacey and TJ’s relationship, throwing even more shade on the situation.
“I read that from the jump,” Karen said bluntly. “It’s over, isn’t it? Stay tuned.”
Karen’s shade didn’t stop at Stacey’s relationship—Karen also took a dig at Stacey’s career transition after leaving QVC. When asked about Stacey’s exit, Karen raised some eyebrows with her comment.
“Was it a transition or a rejection? Let us see. I’m just saying,” Karen teased, making it clear that she isn’t buying into Stacey’s narrative without question.
While there’s certainly some tension brewing between Karen and Stacey, Karen did give credit where it was due. She acknowledged that despite the drama, the new cast members are adding plenty of spice to the season.
“I cannot say that these new girls didn’t step up to the plate,” Karen admitted. “And I’m excited to see what they do in the future. You have to stay tuned.”
As viewers tune in for The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 9, all eyes will be on the growing tension between Karen and Stacey. With Karen’s subtle digs and Stacey’s unfolding storyline, it’s clear that their relationship won’t be smooth sailing.
