Drew Sidora Slams ‘RHOA’ Newbies, Sparking Fears Season 16 Will Be a Total Flop: ‘Bring Back the OGs!’

Real Housewives of Atlanta fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite Georgia peaches, but Drew Sidora isn’t exactly hyping up the upcoming season. In fact, the RHOA star just revealed that the much-anticipated Season 16 may not live up to the high expectations fans have been hoping for.

The once-iconic franchise was supposed to make a huge comeback with Porsha Williams’ return and a few fresh faces. However, things took a turn for the worse when longtime cast member Kenya Moore unexpectedly exited the show midseason under mysterious circumstances. Now, Drew is casting doubt on whether the new additions to the cast will be enough to salvage the season.

In an interview with Us Weekly, Drew shared her thoughts on the new cast members and hinted that they haven’t quite lived up to the legacy of the show’s golden era.

“We’ve got some new energy, so we’re going to see. We’re all going to see together what they really bring,” Drew said, trying to keep an open mind. But her final verdict wasn’t too hopeful. “I wasn’t impressed. I was just like, ‘At this point, bring back the OGs.’”

Season 16 introduced three newcomers to the RHOA cast—Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley—while Shamea Morton Mwangi was finally upgraded to a full-time cast member after years of being a familiar face on the sidelines. On paper, this new lineup seemed promising, but according to Drew, they didn’t quite deliver the drama or charisma that fans have come to expect.

When asked about which former cast members she would like to see return, Drew didn’t hesitate to name some of the franchise’s iconic veterans, including Shereé Whitfield and Marlo Hampton, both of whom were cut from last season’s cast. Like many fans, Drew is yearning for a return to the show’s glory days.

While Drew isn’t thrilled about the new peaches, she did say there’s one bright spot in the upcoming season: Cynthia Bailey. The RHOA alum made her return to the group, and according to Drew, Cynthia’s presence was a breath of fresh air.

Cynthia showed up, but I needed more of her,” Drew admitted. “Cynthia actually brought me into the group, so I was glad she was back, but we need more of her.”

For Drew, it’s clear that Cynthia deserves her peach back. “She needs to take her rightful place back as a peach holder,” Drew said, expressing her desire to see Cynthia as a permanent fixture in future seasons.

Despite Drew’s reservations, she did give fans a glimmer of hope, promising that Season 16 won’t be a total flop. However, with no official word from Bravo on when the new season will premiere, fans are left in the dark, waiting to see if RHOA can reclaim its former glory.
