Angie Katsanevas is holding out hope for her rocky friendship with Lisa Barlow, admitting, “We have history,” despite the mounting drama between them this season on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has brought plenty of drama, and breakout star Angie Katsanevas is right in the middle of it. Known for stirring the pot while also providing lighter moments, Angie made an impression during the premiere by presenting Meredith Marks with a scroll at Lisa Barlow’s Galentine’s party, listing the things she felt Meredith should apologize for. ‘
As expected, Meredith refused to engage. Meanwhile, Angie and Lisa have had their own tension, but there may be hope for reconciliation.
Angie recently opened up about her friendship with Lisa, telling Us Weekly, “You know, I’m always hopeful. We have history. I think I invested a lot of time in the friendship. She invested a lot of time in the friendship.”
The tension between Angie and Lisa came to a head during Lisa’s dinner party when Lisa confronted Whitney Rose about calling her “a villain.” Things escalated when Lisa found out that Angie had told Whitney about her remarks, leading to Lisa furiously throwing a glass.
The night also saw a confrontation between Meredith, Heather Gay, and Whitney, resulting in a screaming match that shocked guests.
The drama has extended beyond the cameras, with Angie engaging in a social media feud with both Lisa and Meredith. Despite the conflicts, Angie hinted at the possibility of repairing her relationship with Lisa.
“I haven’t really seen her much… last time I saw her, it was a positive interaction,” Angie said, though she added, “Some strange things have happened since, but I’ll see her at the reunion, and hopefully, we can just talk it through.”
