Shannon Beador SLAMS Alexis Bellino’s Olive Branch as Fake and Accuses Her of Manipulation!
In The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 18, Episode 13, viewers saw Shannon Beador’s less-than-enthusiastic response to Alexis Bellino’s gesture of sending flowers with an olive branch. While the symbolic offering was meant to smooth things over, Shannon made it clear that she wasn’t buying it.
“Alexis sent me flowers with an olive branch in it,” Shannon explained during an exclusive interview with Bravo HQ. “Thank you, but I’m not interested in an olive branch. I’m not. So sorry.”
Shannon further speculated on Alexis’ intentions, suggesting the timing of the gift, right before a trip to London that Alexis wasn’t invited to, felt manipulative. “It was like, ‘Oh, you know I don’t like you, so let’s send her flowers with an olive branch and be super cute,’” Shannon said.
Alexis, however, insisted her gesture was sincere. “I’m not asking her to be my friend,” Alexis shared in her own interview piece. “There’s no way we could be friends. I know that. But we are in the same circle of women, and I just wanted to squash the animosity. It was her birthday, so it felt like the perfect opportunity.”
Despite the effort, Alexis admitted the gesture didn’t lead to any resolution. “Nothing worked to try to make anything civil out of our group of friends with Shannon,” she concluded.
Shannon’s response came swiftly in the form of a text message to Alexis. “Hello Alexis. It’s Shannon Beador. I am hosting a trip to Europe with my friends and just wanted to make it clear that you are not invited,” the message read.
“Thank you for the flowers, but I am not interested in an olive branch.”
Even their castmates, like Heather Dubrow, weighed in on the situation. “It was a really nice gesture from Alexis, but the timing felt suspect to Shannon,” Heather remarked. “It’s been incredibly hard to be friends with both of them, and I understand how they both feel.”
