RECAP: ’90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ From Cold Plunges to Money Woes: Episode 14 Delivers Drama!
The latest 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way episode doesn’t hold back. Dempsey Wilkinson and Statler Riley are reeling from Statler’s anxiety attack during their boat trip. Dempsey tells her, “I’m not gonna stand for you being rude to me all the time because you’re feeling a certain way.” Statler, clearly defensive, responds, “It seems like you’re wanting, like, a solution to this and there really is not one.”
Despite the tension, they reconcile and continue their journey through France, with Statler finding herself torn about marriage when Dempsey brings it up. Dempsey gets real about her hopes for their future, revealing her intentions for marriage. Statler, half excited and half terrified, muses about the possibility of a proposal: “I like the idea but I’m also nervous.”
Therapy Doubts for Shekinah and Sarper
Over in Turkey, Shekinah Garner isn’t convinced Sarper Güven will actually follow through on his promise of going to therapy. “I just want to make sure that you are gonna go to therapy,” she presses him. Sarper insists he’s booked a session, but Shekinah isn’t buying it: “Who’s the therapist? What’s that therapist’s name? Did you really make a therapy appointment?” In her confessional, she adds, “I call s–t on this. I have this gut feeling that Sarper is lying to me.”
Later, they switch gears and dress up in Ottoman-era costumes for a photo shoot.
However, Sarper can’t help himself and criticizes Shekinah, telling her she needs to work on her “passiveness.” Shekinah, clearly still questioning his honesty, says nothing, but the tension lingers.
Josh and Lily’s Financial Drama
Meanwhile, Josh Theotherway’s brother Jared arrives in town, but things quickly get awkward. Josh confides in Jared about their money issues, and Jared tells him communication is key.
But when they visit a local market, things come to a head between Josh and Lily. Lily asks Jared, “Do you think I love Josh?” Jared says yes, but Lily is hurt that Josh isn’t always sure. Josh, tired of hearing about money, snaps at Lily on the way home, sarcastically saying, “Thank you for ruining Jared’s night tonight.”
Cold Plunge and Cold Feet for Corona and Ingi
Finally, Corona and Ingi take a traditional Icelandic cold plunge. But as the chill sets in, so do Corona’s doubts. She tells Ingi she won’t be able to start her midwifery program for another year and a half.
Ingi replies, “It’s really nice that you met me then. I have loads of patience.” But for Corona, patience isn’t enough. In her confessional, she admits, “I don’t think he realizes how much I’m questioning my choices that led me to this moment.”
Adnan and Tigerlily’s Royal Wedding
Adnan Abdelfattah and Tigerlily Taylor’s wedding was an extravagant affair held at Bebek Halls in Amman, Jordan.
Adnan meticulously handled every aspect of the planning to ensure a night filled with great food and a lively party. With 200 guests, Tigerlily acknowledged that this was her first proper wedding, as her initial marriage was a rushed event due to her pregnancy.
Having spent years recovering from her husband’s isolation, she had few friends at the event, most of whom were employees. Tigerlily, unfamiliar with Middle Eastern culture, had married Adnan just a day after meeting him.
