Comedian Joel Kim Booster Drags Shannon Beador for Being a ‘Pathetic Drunk’ and ‘Terror’ on Set!
Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador became the target of a scathing Instagram post from Joel Kim Booster, comedian and reported host of the upcoming Real Housewives spinoff, Love Hotel.
The post, which has since been deleted, accused Shannon Beador, 60, of being a “pathetic drunk” and criticized her behavior during production.
Joel’s since-deleted Instagram Story, which surfaced over the weekend, seemingly called out Shannon’s treatment of others while filming the Peacock series, which stars other Housewives personalities, including Real Housewives of New York alum Luann De Lesseps, 59, and Real Housewives of Potomac stars Gizelle Bryant, 54, and Ashley Darby, 36.
“He just went on live and COOKED Shannon Beador,” a source shared in DMs posted by Queens of Bravo on Instagram on September 29. “Like he roasted her, chopped her up, and served her for breakfast … Said she has been a TERROR for the entire three weeks, humiliates the crew, was hideous to him, and that at the wrap party just a few hours ago she was terrible to someone he really loves.”
“People Don’t Like You, They Pity You”
According to the DMs, Joel didn’t hold back during his Instagram Live. “And he got in her face and said like, ‘You think you’re a star? People don’t like you, they pity you,’” the source revealed, adding that Joel also claimed Shannon’s daughters exhibited similarly poor behavior.
Joel’s now-deleted Instagram post called Shannon out directly, stating, “Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period.”
The post, which was quickly taken down, left fans buzzing. Joel even teased that more footage was available, saying, “They will make me delete this but DM me if you’d like to see some videos. Besos!”
Sympathy for John Janssen
Shortly after his post was removed, Joel returned to Instagram with additional comments. “Well that was quick. Anyway. Don’t regret it. Hope you screenshot it. Hope she suffers,” he wrote. He also expressed sympathy for Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 61, who recently became engaged to RHOC co-star Alexis Bellino, 47.
“Well, let’s just say I can’t imagine what John Janssen went through. Poor guy,” Joel added, leaving no doubt about his feelings regarding Shannon’s past relationship.
