Erika Jayne is sharing her thoughts on the relationship between John Janssen and his fiancée Alexis Bellino, predicting that their romance may face some challenges down the road.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star voiced her concerns that John may repeat his past behavior, much like he did with his ex-girlfriend, Shannon Beador. Erika also opened up about her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s recent legal troubles and how the allegations against him deeply affected her mental health.

Speaking candidly on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast hosted by Teddi Mellencamp, Erika shared her skepticism about John’s relationship with Alexis, despite their recent engagement. John is currently entangled in a legal battle with his ex, Shannon, following her recent DUI arrest. Erika hinted that Alexis may not fully understand the gravity of the situation and could be living in what she described as a “fantasy land.”

“I don’t know these people, but I do know something about human nature,” Erika said during the podcast, as quoted by @byewighellodrama on Instagram. “It’s only a matter of time before he does to Alexis what he did to Shannon.”

Although Erika admits she doesn’t personally know Alexis or John, she predicts their relationship will encounter difficulties. “It may not be this year. It may not be in three years, and it may take five, 10 years, but it will be done,” she added, suggesting that John’s past actions will eventually resurface. “Because people are who they are. It’s like cheaters, it doesn’t matter. Maybe you didn’t cheat today, but you will do it again … when given the opportunity.”

Despite her grim prediction, Alexis seems committed to the relationship, recently sharing the news of their engagement with fans. However, the looming legal battle between John and Shannon adds a layer of complexity to their future together.

As the conversation turned to Shannon Beador, Erika also shared her thoughts on Shannon’s struggles, particularly in light of her DUI arrest. She expressed concern about Shannon’s coping mechanisms, specifically her drinking. “I prefer not to see Shannon drinking while she’s having such a terrible time,” Erika said, calling the behavior “counterproductive” given the circumstances.

Erika’s personal experience with alcohol was also a topic of discussion. Teddi brought up Erika’s past drinking issues, which had escalated after the allegations against her estranged husband Tom Girardi came to light. Erika didn’t shy away from the topic, reflecting on the emotional turmoil she endured during that period.

“I was trying to die,” Erika admitted, recalling how she used alcohol as a way to escape the overwhelming stress. “I was trying to hurt myself. I was really trying to not wake up … I wanted it to stop, all of it.”

Erika’s mental health took a severe hit after Tom Girardi was accused of embezzling millions from his clients. The fallout from the scandal left her struggling to cope, and she said she felt trapped in a downward spiral. “I slid back into a place where I thought, ‘it’s happening again,’ and I couldn’t get out of bed,” she shared, adding that she had to reach out to her therapist for help.

The emotional toll of Tom’s actions continued to weigh heavily on her, and she admitted that hearing about his recent guilty verdict only intensified her feelings of despair. Despite the progress she has made since the initial allegations, Erika said the news brought back painful memories, and she found herself slipping into old patterns of self-doubt and sadness.

While Erika Jayne’s comments provide a window into her personal struggles, they also raise questions about what the future holds for John Janssen and Alexis Bellino.
