‘The View’ Hosts Laugh Over Diddy’s Sex Trafficking Arrest… Say Having 1,000 Bottles of Lube “Ain’t a Crime!”

The hosts of The View made light of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest on sex trafficking charges during a segment in which they discussed the revelation that 1,000 bottles of lubricant were found in his homes during federal raids.

Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin quipped, “It ain’t a crime, guys,” in reference to the lubricant discovery, sparking laughter from the panel. Whoopi Goldberg chimed in, repeating the phrase and eliciting more chuckles from the audience.

However, Joy Behar didn’t find humor in the situation, calling the entire case “disgusting.” Meanwhile, Sunny Hostin, the show’s legal expert, shared the more serious aspects of the allegations against Diddy.

“These orgies, basically, that he orchestrated with underage girls, and some of age, and commercial sex workers [traveling] across state lines, which is criminal,” Hostin explained, highlighting the gravity of the accusations. She further noted that Combs had illegal AR-15s and taped phone calls, adding, “When you put all of that together, that’s a max of 20 years to life.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal issues have caught widespread attention, including that of his longtime rival, 50 Cent, who couldn’t resist taking a dig. He posted a cheeky caption on X alongside a photo with Drew Barrymore, writing, “Here I am keeping good company with @DrewBarrymoreTV and I don’t have 1,000 bottles of lube at the house.”

Diddy Pleads Not Guilty to Charges

Sean “Diddy” Combs, 54, was taken into custody on Monday and faced three felony charges during his arraignment on Tuesday: racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Prosecutors claim that the hip-hop mogul “abused, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his conduct” for decades. They also accused him of creating a criminal enterprise that engaged in serious crimes such as kidnapping, arson, and bribery.

Despite the severity of the charges, Diddy pleaded not guilty in federal court in Lower Manhattan. His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, spoke confidently during a press conference after the arraignment, asserting that Combs is “not afraid of the charges” and is eager to clear his name.

“He’s been looking forward to this day; he’s been looking forward to clearing his name. He didn’t do these things,” Agnifilo stated.

Ongoing Legal Troubles

In addition to the federal indictment, Sean “Diddy” Combs has faced a string of lawsuits related to sexual abuse and rape allegations. One of the most high-profile cases came in November 2023 when his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura sued him for rape, abuse, and sex trafficking. The lawsuit was settled within 24 hours, but Diddy’s legal team maintained that the settlement did not imply guilt.

The arrest comes on the heels of another legal blow for Diddy, who was ordered to pay $100 million just a week prior for an alleged incident at a party in 1997. The music producer’s future remains uncertain as he faces mounting legal challenges.
