Rayne’s Nigerian Adventure Hits a Bumpy Start
In this week’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Rayne’s long-awaited trip to Nigeria to meet Chidi wasn’t exactly the fairy tale she had envisioned. Jetlagged and underwhelmed, Rayne wasn’t feeling the “magic” she had hoped for. Meanwhile, Chidi tried his best to keep things smooth, but let’s just say, sparks weren’t flying.
Things took a turn when Rayne, her sister, and Chidi made a trip to the local market. Chidi’s sister suggested buying a live chicken for dinner, and that’s when Rayne’s patience snapped. “If you kill that, I’m gonna become really pretty freaking violent,” she warned. Not exactly a great first impression on the future in-laws. Chidi’s sister didn’t miss a beat, calling Rayne’s quick temper a “red flag,” and adding, “The way she gets angry quickly, the way she flares up, it gives me concerns.”
To make matters even more awkward, once they got back home, Chidi dropped the bombshell that he wasn’t interested in getting intimate before marriage. Rayne, feeling both rejected and blindsided, made it clear: if she had known this earlier, she wouldn’t have made the long trip.
Tigerlily’s Culture Shock in Jordan
Tigerlily, fresh off her flight, found herself navigating the unfamiliar waters of Jordanian culture in her whirlwind romance with Adnan. After signing a “Muslim marriage contract” she barely understood, the two were officially married. But, as the saying goes, “marriage is the easy part” — and things quickly got rocky.
The morning after, Tigerlily invited a male friend to do her hair, which didn’t sit well with Adnan. Hovering nearby and throwing some serious “death stares,” Adnan’s jealousy was on full display. The tension didn’t ease up during a family meal when Adnan dodged questions about their future.
When asked whether the couple planned to live in the U.S. or Jordan, Adnan’s non-committal “I don’t know” left Tigerlily stunned and, frankly, questioning their whole arrangement.
Sunny’s Jealousy
We finally got to meet Sunny and Veah, whose romance blossomed on an international dating app. But all is not as rosy as it seems. Sunny, a shy 25-year-old from Bangladesh, admitted he has some trust issues with his 27-year-old South African love, Veah. He’s suspicious of her shady communication habits, ghosting, and — oh yeah — her lingering relationship with her ex.
But wait, it gets better. Veah, nervous about the potential “communication issues,” with Sunny, decided the perfect solution was to bring her ex-boyfriend, Rory, along for the trip. You read that right. And she hasn’t even told Sunny yet. What could possibly go wrong?
Brian and Ingrid: Intimacy Gets Complicated
Brian and Ingrid finally had their long-awaited in-person meeting, but intimacy turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected. Brian, who uses a wheelchair, was nervous about revealing his struggles in the bedroom. His solution? “Half a blue pill” to make sure he wasn’t caught unprepared.
But things took an unexpected turn when Brian introduced Ingrid to his catheter, which she found surprising. With both of them exhausted, the night ended without any romantic fireworks. Not the start Brian had hoped for, but it seems they’ll have to ease into things at their own pace.
Loren and Faith’s Slow Burn in the Philippines
Loren finally made it to the Philippines to meet his online girlfriend, Faith, and while things were looking good on the surface, there was an unexpected hurdle. Faith, a self-admitted “shy” person, revealed that she wasn’t quite ready to jump into the physical side of the relationship. “This is my first boyfriend,” she explained, wanting to take things slow.
Loren, understanding but under pressure with only 20 days in the Philippines, realized that time was ticking to see if this relationship could go the distance. Looks like Loren will have to find a balance between patience and urgency if he wants to make things work with Faith.
