Lesley Beador Files Restraining Order After Violent Altercation with David Beador

Lesley Beador has taken legal action against her husband, David Beador, filing a restraining order after an alleged violent altercation, marking a new chapter in the couple’s ongoing marital troubles.

Lesley Beador Seeks Legal Protection

David Beador’s tumultuous marriage to his second wife, Lesley Beador, has taken another dramatic twist. Lesley, who shares a young daughter, Anna Love, with the former Real Housewives of Orange County star, has filed a temporary restraining order against him, citing domestic violence.

According to a docket from the Superior Court of California in Orange County, Lesley filed the request on Tuesday, raising concerns about her and her children’s safety.

Verbal Abuse and Harassment

In documents obtained by InTouch Weekly, Lesley detailed the events leading to her decision to seek legal protection. She alleged that David’s behavior had become increasingly hostile, claiming he had verbally abused her and harassed her in front of her children. Lesley, whose maiden name is Cook, has two other children from a previous relationship with ex-partner Eriks Pukke, in addition to her daughter with David.

Lesley explained that a recent outburst from David on Monday was the final straw. She claimed that the incident began when Pukke arrived to pick up their children, prompting David to allegedly start shouting obscenities.

“It was very scary,” Lesley stated in her filing. “I recorded this whole incident and will provide the videos to the court. All my children are terrified by David’s behavior.”

Accusations of Obsessive Behavior

Lesley also accused David of sending her 59 harassing text messages in a row, in which he accused her of having an affair with her ex, Pukke — a claim she denies.

“[David] truly needs help,” Lesley wrote. “He gets in an obsessive mania state.”

She went on to explain the impact of David’s alleged erratic behavior on her and their children, saying she never knows when his “next meltdown” will occur or how long it will last.

“These meltdowns, when they occur, are nonstop, even when he is working. They cause me to live in fear and to worry about the effect on the children.”

In one particularly distressing allegation, Lesley claimed that David insulted her late father, calling him a “pathetic loser that had nothing” and saying that he “deserved” to die.

David Beador Accuses Lesley of Extortion

David has responded to Lesley’s restraining order request, claiming that the situation was orchestrated by Lesley and her ex, Eriks Pukke, to provoke him. In his statement, David denied the accusations and suggested that Lesley had planned the events leading up to the restraining order filing.

“I believe this was a planned event to get a rise out of me and/or seek this order, as at that point, Lesley already advised me she would be filing for divorce,” David said, according to InTouch Weekly. “This is pure extortion, and it is again what she is doing in this attempt. She is upset because I canceled her credit card with unlimited spending. I am not required to sustain her lifestyle.”

Monetary Demands and Financial Disputes

In her initial restraining order request, Lesley made several financial demands. Despite seeking protection from David, she asked the judge to ensure that he continue covering the mortgage and utility payments on their shared home, even though she wanted him to be removed from the property.

Additionally, Lesley requested that David pay for her cell phone bill, the monthly lease on her Mercedes-Benz, child support, and spousal support. She pointed out that she had “no source of income from employment” and that David controlled all the finances within their marriage. Lesley also claimed that David had cut off her access to their credit cards.

A Complicated Legal History

This isn’t the first time the Beadors have found themselves entangled in legal battles. In 2022, Eriks Pukke filed his own restraining order against David. A judge later ordered David not to “harass, intimidate, molest, attack, strike, stalk, threaten, assault, hit, abuse, destroy personal property of” Pukke or disturb his peace.

David and Lesley’s rocky relationship has been well-documented, with the couple previously filing for divorce on multiple occasions. In September 2022, they both claimed to have separately filed for divorce, though David’s filings were dismissed three times. The couple also filed restraining orders against each other in June 2023, adding to their ongoing legal woes.

What’s Next

A hearing for Lesley’s latest restraining order filing is scheduled for October 3rd, where a judge will determine whether the order should be made permanent. 

David and Lesley tied the knot in October 2020, just three years after David’s 17-year marriage to Real Housewives of Orange County star Shannon Beador ended.
